Chapter 1: Unanswered Questions
Yuuri awoke in his fiancé's embrace. It had been a few months now since Wolfram's sleeping habits became better and Yuuri didn't mind Wolfram sleeping in his bed. He looked at Wolfram's pale face and slowly brushed his golden locks away. Wolfram's lips curved a smile and Yuuri brushed his lips against his cheeks and whispered "You have no idea about how I feel about you…" He blushed at this thought for a while, and then came to his senses. He broke off from Wolfram's embrace as he sat down and stared at Wolfram. He looked angelically beautiful sleeping. He always has. He laughed at the sight of his fiancé sleeping in a girly, frilly, pink nightgown then snuggled beside him and slept again.
Wolfram woke up with his fiancé's face on his chest. He laughed at this though and combed Yuuri's onyx hair out of his face. He slowly sat up not to wake the sleeping king and placed Yuuri's head on his lap. Gently, he caressed Yuuri's face and noticed Yuuri smile as he slowly opened his eyes. Yuuri awoke seeing his prince's face and emerald eyes watching him. He smiled as he unintendedly leaned forward, brushing his lips against Wolfram. The prince was left speechless still recovering from the kiss as Yuuri sat up. "I'm sorry…I didn't mean to…" Yuuri said, blushing. Suddenly Wolfram held—no, grabbed Yuuri's shirt with tears unshed in his eyes as he said "What did you do to make me fall for you?!" then he got out of the bed and ran out of the room leaving the king dumbfounded.
Wolfram hurried to get in the bathroom and quickly stripped himself and went in the bath. It seemed to call him off for a while. He asked himself over and over again "What did that wimp do to make me fall for him? What did I like about him?! He certainly doesn't want us to be engaged, but why did he suddenly kiss me?!" Suddenly, the door opened and Yuuri walked in "I'm sorry Wolfram, I didn't mean to. I hope it's alright." Yuuri apologized as he joined Wolfram. "It's okay…" Wolfram responded with his eyes looking down.
"I can't understand you," Wolfram finally spoke after a few moments of silence. "What do you want for us to happen? Please?! Tell me how you feel!" "Wolfram…" Yuuri started to say but was interrupted when somebody entered the room. They turned and found out that it was Günter. "Heika! Come, we must quickly go to Ulrike." Because of Günter, Yuuri was forced to leave Wolfram for Wolfram didn't follow. "Why…? How…?" Wolfram kept questioning himself. He couldn't understand what Yuuri felt…more so what he felt. However, he liked being with Yuuri, so even if Yuuri wouldn't say it, he'll be waiting until Yuuri can tell him. He rose and dressed up to go to the Original King's castle to mingle with the sudden commotion.
