Because I love Her

I was watching a zutara(Avatar TLA Shipping) video on youtube with the song "Because I Love Her" from Swan Princess 3. Decided to do a semi-song fic off it.

Summary: When Chaz realizes his true feelings about Grace, how does he confess it? Through song? A letter? Read to find out! One-shot. OC/Chaz.

Disclaimer: I own Grace & Plot, eA owns MySims, and... IDK who owns Swan Princess which owns the song.

BTW I tweaked the speaking words at the beginning.

"Has it ever occured to you Chaz... That maybe I love you more than you do me?" Grace turned to look at me, a look of hurt on her face.

"I didn't mean it like that.."

"Good-bye Chaz..."

I shook it out of my head, and Travis raised an eyebrow, "You okay?"

"Yeah..."

"You sure dude? You've been acting a bit unusual since... you know." Candy put her hand on my shoulder.

"I'm FINE." A growl left my lips.

"You're hiding something.." Summer spoke up.

I turned and faced them, "Isn't it enough I put up with abusive parents, and protecting my little brother. I'm the leader the group and solves our problems direct and advise... Yet..."

Why must I also get down on my knees... and apologize?

I let a harsh chuckle, as I realized the truth.

Because I love her, I need her
Like Earth needs the sun
I need the one I love
To keep my hope bright
My head right
My heart fighting on
Until I am back in her arms

I saw the looks on my friends faces, apparently they never thought I sang so well. I continued

Because I love her, I need her
Like summer needs rain
To grow and sustain each day
I hear her singing
And bringing her strength to my soul
Until I am back in her arms

Travis decided to sing a verse because he took over.

You're miles apart
Yet still your heart
Can hear her melody
I'm more that sure
That you can't endure
Without her love for you

I climbed a ladder up to the hotel roof behind the building while continuing

Because I love her and need her
Like I need to breathe
Did Adam need Eve like this
Now I see clearly

I nearly gave up all I had
So whatever our differences were

I reached the roof and walked forward, placing myself on the sign attached to the roof,

I'll bid them goodbye
I'll give love a try
And all because I love her

I held out the last note as long as I could, finally finishing with a pant or two.

"Woow.. Never knew you could sing, Chaz." I heard a familiar voice and turned. Grace had followed me up the roof.

"How much did you hear?" I asked nervously.

"All of it." She smiled to herself, yet I noticed. She walked over casual than threw her arms around my neck.

I hesitated, but returned the hug, holding her close and tight to me. Our friends below cheered out loud, and I threw something down to get the to shut up. With a luagh or to, we hugged once more, tighter than before...

I never knew good things happened when you sang about the girl you loved...

Sappy. I like it.

Review please!
