"That's it!" Ike exclaimed. Corabeth scoffed.
"What is it Mr. Godsey?" She asked. He rushed over to her.
"Virginia Beach." Corabeth wrinkled her nose at the idea.
"What are you talking about?" Ike put his hands on her shoulders.
"Virginia Beach." He paused. "We need a vacation Corabeth."
"Mr. Godsey, I'm not about to leave the store for a week. Aimee has school." His eyes sparkled with excitement.
"It's all arranged. Aimee will stay with John and Olivia Walton. I've spoken with John Boy and he said he or Jason would watch the store."
"Mr. Godsey! You should have talked to me before making all these arrangements." She scowled. "I must speak with Olivia about Aimee's care." Ike laughed.
"Olivia Walton has raised three daughters Corabeth." He replied. She looked at him.
"You think this is a joke?" She walked away.
"Corabeth!" Ike hollered and walked after her. "We have to go." She walked up the stairs, through their home and into their bedroom without a word. When she got into bed she finally acknowledged him.
"I'm not going." She stated firmly.
"We have to go." He replied.
"Why?" She questioned.
"It's already paid for. Come on." Ike stated.
"You go. Aimee and I can run the store." Corabeth responded looking away from Ike.
"Corabeth, you're acting foolish." He exclaimed. There was a knock on the door. Aimee walked in.
"Mama, what's going on?" Aimee stood at the foot of the bed.
"It's nothing dear. You go off to bed." Ike said.
"Mama?" Corabeth looked at her daughter.
"I'm fine. Go on." Corabeth shrilled. Aimee shrugged before looking at her father and finally walking out of the room. "When do we leave?"
"Tomorrow." He paused. "I'll take Aimee to the Walton's house in the morning."
"Alright." Corabeth sighed.

"Aimee!" Elizabeth squealed running into the living room.
"Elizabeth." Jason grabbed her dress gently. "Don't run. Not so loud." Aimee hugged her.
"I'm so glad Mama agreed to let me stay with you tonight."
"Why wouldn't she?" Elizabeth scrunched up her nose and frowned. Ike looked at Jason.
"You'll watch the store?" Ike asked. Jason nodded.
"John Boy, Mama and I can take shifts." Jason smiled and then Ike smiled.
"Corabeth will be happy to know your mother will be helping out." Ike kissed the top of Aimee's head. "Goodbye Aimee."
"Goodbye." Aimee hugged him and Elizabeth grabbed a hold of Aimee's hand and they ran out of the room. Jason and Ike laughed.
"Are you sure you want to take this vacation? Who is it a vacation for?" Jason laughed.
"Well, at least Corabeth won't be in the store. It'll be a vacation for Walton's Mountain." Ike stated. Jason crossed his arms.
"I'm sorry Ike." Jason shook his head. Ike laughed and walked over to the door.
"We have to be leaving soon. It's going to be a long trip to Virginia Beach." Jason nodded. Ike opened the door and walked out. This would definitely be an interesting vacation.
