This is for the Katekyo Hitman Reborn Dedication Fiesta event of KHR FB page I'm admin. This dedication fic didn't take long to write ( about less than hour).

"Squalo..." Lussuria stares at Squalo sadly.

"What, Lussuria?" Squalo snapped at Lussuria.

"Here. She left this for you," Lussuria took out an envelope and held it out for the shark to take.

Squalo stares at the envelop. It has his name on it in her handwriting. He took the envelop from Lussuria and opens it.

"Thanks Lussuria," Squalo mumbles as he pulls out the contents of the envelope.

Lussuria nods. "I'll take my leave then."

Lussuria left Squalo alone. Squalo unfolded the letter and starts reading it.

To my one and only shark:

If you're reading this now, then it means I no longer here in this world. I'm sorry for suddenly leaving you without saying anything, without a proper goodbye. I love everyone here. The Vongola, The Varia. Xanxus. And most of all, you. I love you so much, more than anything in the world, and I know I have no right saying that to you now when I am no longer here. Thank you for accepting everything about me, all of me, as I have accepted everything about you. Thank you for loving me when I don't deserve it. I couldn't ask for a better person to fall in love with. Someday. Just someday, you'll understand everything when the time comes. I promise we'll still have that future we always dream of again. I know you don't understand what I'm writing here, but you will in due time. We'll see each again.

"Dammit. Dammit, dammit, dammit," Squalo cursed under his breath, biting his bottom lip, shaking. "You're damn straight I don't understand the fuck you're saying in this letter."

Squalo crushed the letter, still rooted on the spot, shaking in anger and despair. Does she really believe that? Would they really see each other again in due time? As in death? No. She would never ask Squalo that. She would tell him to keep on living. To keep fighting. Even in the end, Squalo never understood her. Damn everything to hell, it still hurts like hell. All of it. Will he understand the meaning of the letter someday?

All due time, you'll know. I love you for all eternity, among death, among life, beyond the limits of time. Forever in my heart. I am glad to have know all of you... My family, the Vongola...

A/N: The time setting takes place right before the Vongola hunt and future Tsuna's "untimely death" mentioned in the Future Arc before Tsuna and the others was sent to the future to fix all the damage Byakuran have done and defeat his evil version.
