Kaya walked downstairs noticing Roy was gone. Where was he? She noticed a note that said:
Kaya,
I've left to go fight. I don't know when i'll be back. Don't wait on me. Ill be back when its all over.
I know you must be crying now. I understand. I miss you too. I can't wait to see you again.
Those Grey eyes that show you care alot about everyone. I love that. Anyway like i said i don't know when ill be back. If you wait on me itll only hurt you more.

Tears fell from Kaya's face onto the paper leaving stains. How could he leave? He didn't say anything. She layed the note down.
'Probably the last memory of him' She thought.
There was a knock at the door that caught the brunette's attention.
"Who could that be?' She mumbled and walked toward the door turning the knob with a click and the door opening. It was Edward, her brother.
"Hi Ed" She said putting a fake smile on her face.
"Kaya I know that smile is fake so take it away" He said "I told you Colonel would only hurt you like this" He said mad and along with a eye twitch "When he gets back i want you to leave him." He said.
"Im going to stay with somebody for a while til i know something about him...it hurts to know he's gone and ill probably never see him again" She said walking in her room.
A few days later she's back at her house. Kaya paces the floor impatiently "Its been 5 days and i have NOT heard anything" She mumbled "I need to know something soon." she sighed and sat down. She picked an old photo of her and roy. '3 years ago when we first started dating...i was so happy' She thought as more tears fell.
The phone began to ring, causing her to break from her thoughts and jump. She didn't recognize the number so she answered.
"Hello?"
The conversation ended after 16 minutes and kaya started to cry.
"No no no no I-i can't do this" She said out loud "I don't want to lost him!" She screamed and ran outside the wind blowing her hair to the side. She looked up to the sky.
"Maybe ill have a little hope for him he may pull through this." She said "Maybe" The tears kept coming. She couldn't stop them.
"I don't want to lose him" She said and the tears started coming even more. She looked down. "Why..." She said.
Later that day she layed on the couch and she drifted into a dreamless slumber.
When she awoke the next morning her hair messed up and her face all messed up. She didn't care,
***FLASHBACK***
Kaya and Roy walked hand in hand. She smiled as he kissed her forehead and the wind blew gently and calmly everything felt so right.
"Kaya Lynne Elric" He said as he stood in front of her
"Yeah?" She replied.
He knelt down.
"Will you be my wife" He asked.
'I must be dreaming' She thought tears streaming and blushing along with smiling.
"Yes!" She said as he put the ring on her finger and held her close.
This is perfect.
***END FLASHBACK***
It has been 3 weeks. She's waiting impatiently. Later on that day there was a knock on the door.
She swiftly walked to it and awaiting behind the door was a guy, holding a letter.
This can't be good.
"Miss Kaya?" He announced "A letter for you" He handed it to her and walked off.
She closed the door and sat down and opened it. She began to cry.
"No!" She screamed "No No No!" The tears came more and more
She spotted a gun on the dresser and grabbed it.
That day no one ever heard a word from her.
Again.
