Kurama's POV

I don't remember what had happened. All I remember was trying to calm Kaiya down from her panic attack and then everything went dark. Now I am in a room that is not mine.

I looked around to see if I could find anything that looked familiar, but nothing did. As I stood up I felt a bit of pain when I moved my neck.

"Why is my neck hurting?"

I looked into the mirror that was in the room to see that my neck was bandaged up. When I removed the bandage there were two fang marks in neck. Before I could react the room door opened and Kaiya came in holding a tray with some food on it.

Kaiya looked at me and set the tray on the dresser. Then she moved closer and closer until she was looking straight in to my eyes. Her eyes moved from mine to the fang marks on my neck. She raised her hand to touch them but took a step back. She looked back into my eyes. This her bright blue eyes started to water as she spoke.

"I'm… I'm so…sorry.., Shuiichi" was all she said before tears started to fall.

"You… must… hate… me for being… such a… a… freak" she said in between sobs.

I let out a silent sign and moved closer to her.

"I do not hate you and you are not a freak" I said moving closer and pulling her into a hug. She we stayed like that for a minute or two until she had stopped cry.

When she had stopped she slowly pulled away from me but before she could say anything. My stomach started to growl. She looked at me and smiled.

"You must be hungry. After losing all that blood. Here I made some breakfast for you" she said as picked up that tray and handed it to me.

"Thank you" was all I said as I took the tray of food from her and going to sit on the bed.

"Kaiya, what had really happened last night?" I said as I put some rice in my mouth.

"You don't remember me freaking out and you trying to calm me down?" She said sitting beside me on the bed.

"Yes I remember that but what happened after?"

"Well to make a long story short….. I kinda sucked your blood"

I almost choked on my food.

"*cough* *cough* you… what?"
