AN: Sorry for the short chapter, but here is one of my fave pairings! Enjoy and please review!
Draco left the Great Hall, forcing himself not to glance in a certain red-head's direction. He hadn't managed to eat anything, his mind was preoccupied with the Quidditch match today between Gryffindor and Slytherin. With Ginny appointed as Seeker for the Gryffindor team, he knew Slytherin had a better chance of winning. The only thing nagging at his mind was the fact that Harry was Ginny's girlfriend- but it didn't bother him that way, the only thing was that Harry would have given Ginny all his tips. Draco clambered into the Slytherin changing room and ripped his school robes off, thrusting on his Quidditch robes. He sat down, waiting for his teammates. But he needn't have to wait for long, as the rest of the Slytherin team burst in, talking and chattering. When everyone had finished changing, Draco grabbed his Nimbus 2001 and strode out onto the pitch. There was an underlying cheer that was drowned out by the resounding "Boo" from three of the Hogwarts Houses. He ignored this and as the two captains shook hands he mounted his broom, kicking off the solid ground. He hovered over the pitch, higher and higher, away from the action of the match. Circling the pitch, Draco looked around for the Snitch. Gryffindor scores. Slytherin. Gryffindor and Gryffindor again. After approximately twenty minutes, Draco spotted it, and so had Ginny. He zoomed towards the Snitch, getting closer and closer, nudging Ginny a few times, trying to knock her off her broom- but to no avail. He reached out but instead of feeling the cool metal of the Snitch he felt a warm, soft hand. He looked beside him only to find Ginny looking at his hand clutching her's, blushing. He jerked his hand away and sneered half-heartedly at Ginny. That was the first time he had eye contact with her after the Yule ball- after he asked Ginny out and tried to kiss her. He was drunk, of course. However he asked Weaslette out, nontheless.
