A/N: This fic is just a little thing that I wrote years ago. I had no idea that I would someday post it. And I know there will be some errors, since I don't have any beta-reader.
Disclaimer: EriolMizuki doesn't belong to me, they belong to each other and Clamp.

"Are you looking for something in particular?" said a boy standing behind the antique store's display glass.
He was wearing a long purple cloak, smiling as he asked her – Kaho Mizuki - a stranger he had never met before. She stood there, surprised and was trying to find something to say. She knew it was strange for a university student to take interest in ancient pots or picture frames, especially when she didn't have any relation to them. Well, except for the part which she was a shrine maiden in Japan.
"Would you consider of coming in to have some tea?" said the boy as he gently smiled. At that moment, she lifted up her head and realized when her eyes met his – that he had silver, nearly transparent eyes.
"Uh..." she gasped.
Although it was a little late to apologize for all the "staring-at-an-innocent-child". This is probably pretty rude, even for someone who is younger than her. She hoped that he understand she was nothing more of a normal person.
Being a foreigner and a university student were quite unfitting for her. She had been living in Japan for years. At first her idea of adapting was nothing, she was well-trained and sociable so it wouldn't be hard for her. Eventually, she soon came to realize that her inability to remember streets' names and places were getting on her nerve. Especially when she was in London, everything seemed new to Kaho.
Outside, snow was starting to fall.
The sky became darker and street lights were on. Kaho mind wandered around for quite some time until she heard a jingle bell came from the store. She thought that giving him an answer was needed, because she couldn't let him wait forever, but she also couldn't just "come in" freely.
The boy chuckled when she said ,"I'm sorry, but without the owner's permission, I can't probably just enter, right?"
Kaho didn't know why she blurted out something as childish like that, for her Sight had been alerting her about this child mature, harmless but fearful aura. Well, rather than "fearful" she felt the words "powerful but rare" are better used for describing him. She wouldn't be surprised if she might later found out he was a son of some well-mannered wizards. "They have raised him well," she thought. However, his choice of words are a little too formal.
"Would you still be interested in it – having tea with me, if I assured you that I have full authority of this place?" he smiled confidently as if he wanted her to come in so badly that he would just do anything. Kaho thought his efforts was worthwhile when she abruptly nodded. It was cold outside and Kaho's jacket wasn't enough for her to get by.
She would just step in right away without hesistation if her Sight had told her there was nothing to worried about, for her hands were freezing and the conversation was getting pretty awkward.
Imagine a maybe-10-year-old-boy and an undergraduate talking, both having Earl Gray tea in an antique shop, watching snow slowly falling outside.
