Story: DRRR!Metal Alchemist, Chapter 1
Summary: Mairu has lost much in her twelve-year life: when she and her sister, Kururi try to resurrect their dead mother through the forbidden act of human transmutation, Mairu loses her sister as well as two of his limbs. With her supreme alchemy skills, she binds her soul to a large suit of armor. FMA Crossover!
Disclaimer: I don't own DuRaRaRa! nor Fullmetal Alchemist.
The storyline will be about the same as FMA's, but with added tidbits, and some things altered. Some characters may have to be changed slightly to fit their respective roles, but they will still be themselves at the core. I also plan to keep the FMA Manga/Brotherhood homunculi, I'm not creating new ones, and the situation with Izaya/Kururi/Mairu's father is going to be the same situation as Hohenheim. Father is going to be the same, same goals, and stuff. But beyond that, the other characters are going to be themselves.
This isn't really a chapter, at all, but I do have plans to write more in the next one, I just wanted to post the start of it.
...
Two girls sat before a insignia in the ground. A pan with various items lay in the middle of it. The shed they were in was dimly lit by chandeliers.
"Mairu, are you sure you're okay with this...?" one girl spoke, in an almost monotone voice. In reality, she only seemed to be asking the other if she was ready.
"Of course I am. Everything's gonna be fine. And if something does go wrong, I'll be here to protect you, so don't worry about it." the other replied, offering reassurance by giving a small.
"Mn."
Their eyes, however, shown dead, like they had face too much strife for their ages. In truth, they were probably fully prepared to go through with this, because they thought there was nothing else they could lose.
With that said, they placed their hands down on the circle.
After a matter of seconds, it begin to glow a bright yellow, before suddenly turning to deep purple. Some of the lights began to shatter, and immediately they knew something was wrong.
The next events were unspeakable.
...
(Will post quite a bit more in next chapter, and will eventually go into further detail) I cannot promise to finish this story or keep updates regular, because I have a LOT going on right now, but I'll try to keep it up.)
