I do not own anything to Power Rangers Samurai.

While Jayden watched his friends leave the Shiba house, he felt empty. None of them would ever return. Now he was alone again. And he didn't like it.

Lauren needed to return to finish some issues about what had happened in the end. Kevin, well, he would be in town but now as a free man, and he would fulfill his dream of being in the Olympics. Mia wanted to go to college and start a career as a professional chef. Antonio would travel to new seas and he would catch a lot of new fish species never seen before. And Emily's and Mike's plans were to return to Emily's farm and take care of her sister. Now that they were in a relationship, they didn't want to separate.
Everyone had their own plan and their own ideas for a future. Jayden was the only one who didn't know what to do next.

When he started playing the guitar Ji smiled, believing Jayden would have finally some fun. "You're good." He said.

"Thanks Ji" Jayden forced a tiny smile put the guitar on the table.

"What is it, Jayden? Are you all right?"

The red ranger sighed and turned to Ji "Ji, I don't know what to do. For the first time I'm free and I don't know what to do."

Ji nodded. He did know how Jayden was feeling. He had spent his entire life training only to try and defeat the evil force. It had been years of extremely disciplined and sacrifices, and now that he had finished them off, what was the next step to him?

"Jayden you need to relax. Enjoy this moment. You're young. You can do anything you want."

"My friends are gone, my sister too. I don't know what to do now. What am I going to do with my life?" Jayden felt a hand on his shoulder when he putted his head in his hands.

"You're afraid, Jayden. That's all. You're afraid of life; you never had felt this before. You always woke up with the goal of defeat nighloks and now… they're gone. You need to focus on what to do next. Don't be afraid, life is beautiful."

Jayden smiled. He wanted to do new things, try new panoramas, make a new routine but, how? How he would so such a thing like that? He didn't know how to start or where to begin? Was it going to be difficult? Was he really scared of doing new things? Whatever his feelings were, Ji was right. The perfect time to start was anytime.

Jayden looked up to the sky. "Thanks Ji. Maybe you're right."

"Now… " Ji said as he made Jayden got up from the stool with a soft pat on the shoulder. " What about if you take my motorcycle, take a ride and meet some girls?" He chuckled.

"Wow! Esto es vida!" Antonio was shouting to everyone who passed down the cruise ship. He was so happy that his dream finally came true. He was on a trip, for two months doing all he loved: fishing.

He was in the boat rail admiring what would be in few minutes the past. He had defeated the nighloks and had fulfilled his big moment. Even when he became the sixth power ranger accepting all dangers, Antonio never thought it could be so hard. But now that he was released of battles, he could do whatever he pleased.

"Excuse me, young man…" The waiter of the boat was trying to calm him down."We are about to leave, so maybe you want to calm down…"

"Leave?" The gold ranger turned to him in an enthusiastic mood. "Leave now? Yeah, buddy. I'm leaving this city."

"I see you are excited for leaving, huh?" The waiter pointed out. " This place makes me feel sick as well" He said as he looked the panorama.

Antonio frowned confused. He was excited not desperate. "Sick? Why? Because of the fish?" Antonio didn't understand.

"No…" The waiter frowned, shaking his head "…you were here when all that happened, right? All the Power Ranger stuff?"

The gold ranger suddenly turned his face into a more serious one and nodded slowly. "Sure…I… I was here but, why did you say that?"

"Seriously?" The waiter rolled his eyes, his voice tired. "Those stupid rangers were supposed to protect people. You know, when that big red monster appeared a lot of people died because of the water. And now where are they? Where are the superheroes? They just left the city, made a big mess and that's all. Puff."

Antonio was getting pissed. He knew all things the rangers did to save the world. The many nightmares they all had about people asking for help in desperation. They were just six people trying to save thousands. An entire world.

"Hey dude, I'm sure they did all they could." There was a slight pause. "And the people who died well, try to understand…"

The waiter interrupted him, his face turning slightly pink. "You know? I don't want to talk about it. I'm the waiter so I came here if you want to eat something. We have breakfast ready."

"No, thanks" Antonio shook his head. His appetite had already gone. "I'm fine."

"Call me if you need something."

"Mia, sweetheart, you're home!"

A pair of arms wrapped around Mia and hugged her tightly. Her mother was crying and his father was telling her he was proud of her. The pink ranger admired her family and smiled. She felt so comfortable; she had missed them and wanted to tell them that she loved them.

" Mom, dad… I'm so happy to be here, I…"

Mia started to cry, her words struggling to come out of her lips. She didn't know what to say the moment her parents were in front of her, hugging her, kissing her and telling her how much she was missed. The pink ranger couldn't be more relieved that they were safe after all, and she barely was trying to relax after being terrified about them.

"Honey, it's okay, it's okay…All is over" Her father whispered as he hugged her daughter noticing her body was shaking.

Mia's mom took her daughter in her arms and told her in a soft voice"Mia, I'm so happy. I'm so, so, so proud of you. You did it, my love. You finally ended this nightmare."

"Mom, we all did it" The young girl smiled nervously, wiping her tears away with her sleeve. "My friends and I, we're so happy too…"

Her father silenced her by raising his hand. "Well it's not time to talk. You're mother prepared your favorite plate to eat and this is going to be a great day, you're going to tell us everything… since you left."

Mia laughed nervously. "Dad, that's too much. Two years and you want everything in a day… well, a half of a day."

"Yes, lady. Now let me take your luggage."

The pink ranger huffed and turned to her mother with sleepy eyes. "Mom, I'm really tired…"

"Mia, come on, go wash your hands…" The pink ranger's mother spun around and directed herself to the kitchen, ignoring what Mia wanted to say.

Mia frowned and put her hands on her hip. "Cool, yesterday I almost lost my life and now I'm ordered to wash my hands, so fair." She rolled her eyes and walked to the washroom.

Kevin walked to the showers and saw his team getting ready for the training of the day. "Hey guys, can I join you?"

The team looked to Kevin surprised that he was back. They all raised their gaze and said in unison. "Kevin!"

Everyone welcomed him very friendly and the blue ranger never felt so welcomed before. His mates started to ask question about him, where he had been and why he had gone, and though he wouldn't say the true, he was doing an effort by inventing a good excuse.

After a while, the coach came to the showers because it was getting late and none of his boys had gone to the pool yet. As soon as he stepped inside, he saw a group around of one specific boy.

"Kevin, you came!" He made his way through the team and shook hands with the blue ranger.

"I told you coach, I'm back."

"Once and for all?"

"Once for all" Kevin nodded excited. "I'm on time, right?"

"Of course, go change."

The coach pointed to the dressers and Kevin did what he was told. When he opened a locker to take out a towel, he felt someone edging towards him. It was his coach.

"I'm glad you're back. It's good to have you here."

Kevin knew it. "Thanks, coach."

"Emily, I'm not sure."

"Come on Mike, they'll like you."

"Wait, but what am I going to do?"

"Just introduce yourself. They're just my parents."

The yellow ranger was trying to pull Mike towards the door of her house but he was stronger so it made it difficult to drag him.

"They'll hate me." Mike protested, leaning backwards. He had his feet glued to the ground and his voice was barely a whisper. It would be easier ofr him if Master Xandred was the one on the other side of the door.

"I don't care" Emily growled and let go of Mike's arm. She turned to her house, desperate to go inside but it wouldn't be right if she left Mike outside. But she would if he kept the behavior.

"Here you're my boyfriend not theirs."

Mike huffed but finally nodded noticing Emily's anxious, and walked to the door to open it. "Ok, let's the slaughter begin." He said under his breath. "I had a good life after all."

Mike opened the door for Emily to come in, and she rushed to enter. As soon as she was inside she screamed. "Mom? Dad? I'm here!" She directed herself to the kitchen. She got chills when she saw her parents standing in front of the table.

They were hugging.

The yellow ranger couldn't be happier to be in her home. All insecurities vanished when she stared at her father and mother, and when they pulled apart, Emily's mother was the first one to talk.

"Emily…" Her mother said with a pale face like snow, her voice breaking. "You came home."

"Yes, mom… what happened?" Emily asked worried. Her breath was faster as well as her heartbeat. "Is everything ok?"

Her mother let out a cry and his father looked to her. Both were devastated, and she could tell they were suffering. It was on their eyes.

Her mother shook her head and muffled words Emily didn't understand. Her father did seat her mother on a chair and turned to Emily with an exhausted face, speaking lament instead of words. "Emily, sweetheart, I am so sorry…"

"Serena!"

Without a second thought, Emily ran upstairs, leaving Mike behind.

He was carrying his and Emily's luggage and placed them on the floor. The yellow ranger's father stared at him, assuming he was his daughter's boyfriend.

"You're Mike, aren't you?"

"Yes, sir." Mike nodded confident. He took a look around wondering what to do next and returned his sight. "What happened here?"

Emily's mother lifted her head and with tears stuck in her eyes said, "Serena is death."
