Author's Note
Err, merry Christmas, all! And a belated happy birthday to Ciel (25th Dec) and Alois (5th Nov) because I'm mean and forgot to mention his in the last chapter of ADSoC.
Well. Almost the end of the year! Crazy stuff.
Rated M just to be safe. This is CielxAbberline because that pairing needs more love. Now go read Eden by Eden Lies because it is much, much better than this. Seriously, I wrote this at 11 pm.
Also, the Kuroshitsuji dub sucks.

Sebastian frowns as Ciel tells him not to be disturbed. He watches Detective Abberline follow the boy in, and he can only boy and mutter, 'yes, my Lord,' before he must pass the news to the others.

Sebastian frowns as he tells the servants who are so blissfully unaware, blind, but he tells them it is because their master must speak to the detective who will eventually take up Sir Randall's position.

Sebastian frowns as he goes about his work because he knows it is a lie. He knows today is one of those days; one of the days he detests the most. He knows that today he will bid Abberline good day before he must go into that room. The smell is almost unbearable. Why is there always that smell?

Sebastian frowns as he fixes Ciel's hair, gently combing it through before fixing up the buttons the boy missed doing up. He wants to say something, but he knows better. He'd spoken on the subject once before only to have his master slap him angrily. Normally Ciel keeps himself proper, even around his butler when they can be a little more relaxed. Sebastian smiles bitterly to himself; maybe the Earl realises he can act how he likes when it comes to improper actions.

Sebastian frowns as he puts his master to bed, and the boy questions it finally. The butler says nothing; no words need to be spoken. It isn't until he feels the faintest brush of those soft lips against his own that he smiles.

P.S.
If I can be bothered, I will make this better.
