" I cannot believe you just did that."

He does nothing but give me a guilty, awkward grin, no doubt at the face I have on now. And then he does it again.

"Seriously, Fang!"

" Well, how could I resist after the reaction I got last time?"

And so I hiss at him.

"Uhm, Max, you do realize we're part bird, . . . not cat, right?"

" . . ."

Now he's got this weird expression, like, he wants to laugh, but he's scared of me.

"I'm debating whether or not to kill you right now Fang, don't push me."

And so he drops the hose, gets a running start, and jumps into the air.

I'm sweet enough to give him a minute's head start, before I go after him. But with my super speed, that's no enough. Quickly, I can now see him, just hovering there.

Really, being able to go so fast should be great, and by now I should be a master at it. But I'm not. I've got the getting started down. It's just the stopping I can't handle.

Which, is why I just ran into Fang. Fang's arms, actually. I wonder how he new I would be able to stop. What if I got it right and he was just standing there with his arms out? His intentions are suspicious.

Fang's looking at me in this way that I don't want him to look at me. I'm just there trying to figure out what it is I'm going to do to him, when he leans in and . . .

I find it quite ironic that one of my (sadly) many pet-peeves is very short chapters. And what do you notice about this one . . .? Okay. Okay. I'll work on it. Even if it takes longer in between. I, will vow to make longer chapters.

:)
