We see a dark shape moving in the shadows of Canterlot, the figure slowly moves to the castle of the princess's looking around carefully and dodging any guards the it sees or hears, once there the figure slowly moves towards the servant's door to the castle, after making sure that no one is there it steps into the light for a moment and we see what it is, body black as tar, insect like wings, sharp white teeth and green stomach. Then it moves into the darkness again, still moving to its destination. Once the creature got into the palace it was suddenly covered in a swirl of green flames before an indiscriminate stallion stepped out of the flame and continued on to his destination, once the stallion was standing in front of the room he was looking for he looked down and slowly put down the basket he was carrying then he pulled out a note and set it down in the basket before he knocked on the door and suddenly turned invisible, after a couple of minutes the door opened and Princess Luna walked out she looked around and after seeing nothing she started to turn to go back in when she heard a noise from the basket, she looked down and gasped before she quickly took the basket inside and shut the door. The figure quickly moved towards the outside and once out quickly disappeared into an ally where he collapsed
POV-Luna
I sigh as I look around my room and think about what we just did; we had defeated Discord! The spirit of disharmony and chaos! Oh how good it felt to get rid of him finally…. She was interrupted by a knocking on her door "Come In!" I yelled after no answer I thought "it must be somepony pranking me…but ill check it anyways I always appreciate a good prank."As I walked to the door I thought about who it could be trying to prank me "more than likely its Laughter Pie" as I open the door I'm careful not to trigger anything, once its open I look around and see that there is nothing here "so it was not Laughter because it would have triggered by now hmmm. I must be hearing things" I started to close the door when I head a sound I looked around carefully to see if Laughter was going to try and prank me but all I see is a basket on the ground with a letter I peek in the basket and gasp I immediately knew what it was that was in the basket and I knew what I had to do so I pick up the basket and brought it into my room. And called in Celestia and we read the letter
"Dear Luna
My old friend I'm sorry that I have to ask you of this but as I'm writing this my Hive is being attacked by the Queens in a united army Against me I know I won't survive this night so I ask you to please take care of my daughter Amethyst she was just born hours ago and I know you would be able to take care of her. Farewell my friend by the time you get this, I will have died so please don't try to rescue me. In the basket is my daughter as well as all the books and instructions from our hive compressed into one book.
