I bolted out of bed when the emergency sirens began to sound, their long, drawn out honks filling the room. The only light came from the swirling, red, emergency light. I looked around the room, and realized my parents weren't in their bed. "Mom...Dad", I called with no reply.
I fell over as an explosion shook the ship. I heard blaster shots coming from outside, and I gasped, crawling back into my bed. I heard a knock at the door, and then a slam, "Sylvia? Sylvia, open up!", I heard muffled behind the door. "Salvo?", I asked, as I punched in the lock code. The door opened, and I saw Salvo standing in a pile of Sith soldiers, their silver armor reflecting against the harsh light. His lightsaber glowed brightly in his hand as he reached out his other, "Sylvia, you have to come with me sweetie", he said with urgency, "Salvo, what's going on? Where's Mom and Dad?", I asked and he looked behind him. "I'll explain later, it's not safe right now", he said and took my hand, pulling me along the corridor, and turning sharply into another large bedroom, cutting through to the opposite hallway. There were several Sith soldiers standing at the end of the corridor, who immediately took notice of us, and open fired. Salvo pushed me behind him and deflected several blaster shots, causing them to ricochet against the wall and find their mark on the overhanging light, sending sparks onto the Sith soldiers head. They were temporarily blinded, and Salvo pounced, bringing his lightsaber through one of the soldier's shoulders, and he spun around and cut off another's hand. He jumped over the handless shoulder and whipped his lightsaber onto his neck, decapitating him. He whipped around and threw his blade at the last soldier's neck, using the Force to pull it back out.
He turned back to me and led me to the end of the hall, coming to the door at the end and shoving his saber into the locking mechanism, opening the door loosely. He pushed through the door and gasped, I saw a red saber plunge through his chest, and slide back out. Salvo fell to the side and what was in front of me horrified me. I couldn't move, I could only stare in panic as the scene continued in front of me. My mother lay on the floor, laying in a pool of blood, she wasn't breathing.
My father knelt on his knees, quaking with anger as tears rolled down his eyes, "I'm going to kill you Revan, I'm going to choke you with your own intestines!", he screamed at the Jedi, who brought his saber to his neck. "Good. Allow the Dark Side to envelope your mind, allow it to rejuvenate you", said the Jedi. I realized she was female, and her voice sounded amused, and triumphant. The Jedi looked important, with a long, flowing robe trailing her entire body, and a large mask taking up her entire face. She laughed coldly, and raised her weapon, "Not that it will help you", she said as she plunged it into his skull, and I snapped out of my trance.
An incredible anger engulfed me, and I felt my whole body tingle as something rose inside, I blacked out as an enormous blue light engulfed the room in front of me, coming from my finger tips.
