Ayumu's brows knit together in frustration as he concentrated on the problem he was imposed with this time.

His sweat trickled down his forehead and fell into his eyes. Irritably, he brushed it away with the back of his sleeve, growling slightly.

Ayumu's eyes widened. Okay, what was going on here? He picked up the bomb gingerly – afraid it would explode any moment – and frowned, inspecting the timer. You could imagine his surprise when he found that the timer had actually stopped.

"Rutherford, where are the batteries I put here earlier?"
"You mean those Duracell AA ones? Rio used them for her bomb."
"...Oh. I... used them up earlier..."
