AN: I was reading Sea of Monsters, and I got to the part were Annabeth meets the sirens, and I thought, "What would've happened if Percy had faced the Sirens instead of Annabeth…" So hear you go. Hope you enjoy!

Annabeth and Percy made sure to tie the ropes were on good and tight before they got in hearing range of the Sirens.

"Percy. Remember: They are going to make you want to jump out of the boat and kill yourself. They will show you what you most want to see. They say that those who survive come back wiser." Annabeth warned.

"Then why don't you ant to hear them?" Percy questioned.

"My mother warned me about them. She knew I would want to hear them, so she showed me what they would have shown me."

"Oh. Okay."

"Percy. Just don't kill yourself! I- um… I mean the camp needs you!" And she leaned in and kissed his cheek.

"Take Riptide." Percy passed his ballpoint pen to Annabeth, seconds before they wer in hearing range of the Sirens.

Annabeth plugged her ears up, and gave Percy to thumbs up, but his eyes had glazed over, and He suddenly started bawling.

"ANNABETH! UNTIE ME! PLEASE!" She read his lips, as He pleaded with her. It was so hard for her not to go over there and give him hat He wanted. But she knew that if He were untied He would kill himself. And she couldn't imagine her life without Percy now.

Meanwhile Percy looked into the distance and saw Poseidon on the bank. The Pacific Ocean's waves crashing against the shore.

"Son. I am so proud of you!" Poseidon held his arms out, waiting for his son to come to shore and hug him.

Then the scene hanged. His mom was in the water. Holding out her famous blue chocolate chip cookies, and a glass of blue milk. She smiles invitingly, but said nothing. A soft tunes hummed in the back of his head.

And the scene changed yet again. This time He couldn't see anything at first. He only heard laughing. And not the evil laughing of the titan king that filled his dreams. He heard Annabeth's sweet laugh. And then He saw her face. She was standing on a pointed rock, wearing a long write gown. She looked like a goddess- no pun intended. She had to golden olive branches circling her head like a crown, her long blonde hair falling in perfect waves along her back.

"Percy!" She called, "Come here, Percy! I need you!" He jumped, but was pulled back by the rope.

"Percy! You promised you would always save me!" She called. "I love you Percy! I need you!"

He felt his pockets, and found his- always returning- pen, and uncapped it.

Riptide grew, and He quickly cut the rope, and jumped into the water and swam towards Annabeth.

But someone grabbed him from behind. Someone was pulling him away from Annabeth! He was outraged. He threw waves at the person holding onto his back, urging him back toward the boat. But the person clung to him, He turned around, and drew Riptide. He brought Riptide down, almost hitting the person on the head, but however it was blocked his sword with a knife.

She shook him hard, and then He saw her face: Annabeth. And He had tried to kill her! He was immediately ashamed.

He grabbed her shoulders, because the waves in the water were about to drown Annabeth, and-without thinking- pushed her under the water.

He quickly formed an air bubble around her, and she started sputtering and coughing.

"Are you okay?" Percy asked, but Annabeth couldn't read his lips, and she couldn't hear him because of the ear plugs.

Percy took the plugs out of her ears. They were deep enough now that you could not hear the Sirens at all.

"Oh Percy! I thought you were going to die! Don't you EVER do that to me again, Seaweed Brain! You got that?" She tackled him in a hug, and started crying.

"I won't, Wise Girl. I promise." He hugged her to him, and that was the moment that Perceus Jackson realized that He was in love with Annabeth Chase.
