I do not own Percy Jackson and the Olympians.

Do you feel out of place, always on the run? Do you hear a voice in your head, telling you whether a choice you made is good or not, always seeming to guide you? Do you feel as if, however hard you try, you will never find a place you fit in with the world, never find a place you'll truly shine? Has it ever occurred to you that you're different (other than the fact that all the "Miss. Populars" in your school always treat you like your skin is neon blue)? Well welcome to my world.

Hi, my name is Taliah Olympian. I live in Camp Half-Blood, Long Island, New York. I know what you're thinking. "Camp Half-Blood?! Have you lost your mind?!" No, I haven't. I'm a demigod, daughter of Hades, one of the big three. (He's god of the Underworld, death, shadows, all that cheery stuff.) So yes, you know all those Greek Myths you've heard? They are very real. The myths about the big three and the Olympians and all that, they are far from myths. My best friend, daughter of Athena, is related to George Washington in a godly way. Ha, you should have seen your face. Yes, the "Father of Our Country" is a son of Athena, my best friend's half-brother. Please don't freak!(Next time, hold up a mirror to see your face!)

So yeah, demigods or half-bloods, whatever you want to call us, are real which means monsters and mythical creatures, like pegasi (chicken ponies) and satyrs, are also real. There is a special veil like thing, called the Mist that covers stuff like that from mortal eyes.

Anyway, if you have experienced anything stated above or anything weirder (and have dyslexia, ADHD or both,) you're probably a demigod. I have to leave now but don't worry, I'll tell you everything you need to know about life as a demigod (as long as you don't tell anyone, no friends, no relatives, even other known half-bloods for you can't be sure if they really are a half-blood or if they are trustworthy,) in other entries. If you already know about demigods and your Greek ancestry and heritage and you're on your way to Camp Half-Blood, good luck, have a safe journey, and try not to get killed. (You might laugh about it now but you won't be once you arrive mauled.)

Taliah Olympian, signing out (for now)

What do you think? Like it? Hate it? Should I continue? Please review. Constructive criticism is appreciated! Please don't be too harsh though, this is my first fanfic!
