Assassin's Creed
The Thief
Ezio saw a thief rob a fruit merchant. He followed him from the rooftops, so he wasn't seen. The thief traveled for three miles, and then did something that made Ezio freeze in his tracks. He went into Templar territory. Ezio was tempted not to risk his life for justice, but then saw that he was beating an innocent woman to get her to give him what little money he could.
That was the deciding factor. Ezio sprang into action and fearlessly ran into the hostile territory, jumping across rooftops and using clotheslines as zip lines. He finally pounced on the thief and grabbed all of the stolen goods from the pockets of his tunic. Ezio gave the badly injured woman her money back without speaking. Then the unthinkable happened.
Ezio heard an alarm sound. Three squads of Templars surrounded him. Ezio drew his sword. He blocked many blows from the armed enemies, and even managed to kill a few of them. But to disarm him, a spear man hit his sword so hard that he dropped it. They thought he was helpless, but they were wrong. He kicked one of them in the stomach, and then deployed his hidden blades.
His hidden blades were blades concealed within bracers on his wrists that came out below his wrists. They were about ten inches long.
He stabbed two of the Templars at once when they let their guard down, and then disposed of the rest when they were confsed about what had just happened to their comrades.
He quickly ran out of the hostile territory, as he had no desire to linger in a place where he could be killed at any moment. He retraced his steps back to the fruit merchant. Once he got there, he gave him his goods back. "Where did you find these?"
"I found them on a thief you failed to notice."
"How am I to know you are not the thief, only not having the guts to steal something from someone keep it?"
"I recommend you just take you fruit back and not argue." and Ezio walked away.
