A/N: This one's actually pretty darn short. I actually wrote this for a roleplay I was in, it was a flashback and there was some more to it because the storyline involved more, but I tweaked it a little bit and kept some of the same general things because it's really cute, and I wanted more Quinn and Sam in my writing-life :P Enjoy! -Kay.
"You're staring at me again aren't you?"
Quinn laughed lightly, looking up at him from where head rested on his shoulder, his arm wrapped around her. "I'm not staring, I'm just…marveling."
Sam peeked one eye open and looked down at her with half a smirk. "Yeah, you're staring."
It was the first night Sam had ever actually slept over, granted it'd been when her mom was out of town and would have no knowing of it, since you know, a junior in high school wasn't allowed to have a boy sleeping over apparently, but still, she couldn't get over the immense amount of happiness she felt waking up and having him there beside her, his arms around her.
"Am I not allowed to look at you?" she asked, raising a brow.
Sam's eyes closed again as he tossed his arm over them to shield from the sunlight. "You can look at me all you want. In fact, I kinda like knowing you like looking at me, means you won't be looking at anyone else."
Quinn sat up, pulling the elastic band out of her hair to let her hair down over her shoulders. She brought her knees up and leaned her elbows on them, not saying anything. Sam sat up slowly, leaning tiredly back against the headboard of her bed.
"What are you doing?" he asked.
She smiled but didn't look back at him as she shrugged her shoulders innocently. "Nothing, just sitting."
No way was she about to admit the ulterior motive she had going on in her head. Sam sat up a little more, his brow furrowing.
"I liked you laying down, my side's cold now."
Quinn rolled her eyes, but the smile was still on her face. "Hmm, well looks like you'll be needing more blanket then huh?" she said challengingly.
Sam raised a brow, thinking momentarily that he'd done something wrong. Quinn glanced back over her shoulder at him, eyebrows raised.
"Ohhh, I get it now." he said, a smirk slowly forming on his face.
Quinn turned away again, a blush pinkening her cheeks. She leaned her chin on her hand. Sam leaned closer to her, sweeping her blonde hair over her shoulder, then kissing the side of her neck.
"You're trying to get me to look at you now, aren't you?"
Quinn put on a playfully innocent expression. "What? Now why would I ever do that? You like looking at me all on your own, I don't have to try and tempt you into it."
He laughed and shook his head, turning her face to kiss her on the mouth. "Only got eyes for you." he said quietly as he pulled away.
