A/N: Okay. Now I'm trying to be brave. So, I've been reading MR fanfics for... two years now, over two years, actually. I've written quite a many fics myself, too, but only a few of my friends have read those. And now I decided to try and put a simple fic poem here. One thing I want to say, is that as you may already have noticed, my first language isn't English. It's Finnish. So I'm very sorry for my typos and grammar mistakes. Please, feel free to point them out, maybe I'll learn a little.
A Dance
it's like a strange dance of destruction and creation
of death and rebirth
of light and darkness
it's a strange dance of love and death,
entwined together, parting and melting together again,
like their lips,
a dance of doomed passion
an eternal love that was never meant to be
they're falling down, down to the infinite darkness,
but they fall ever so softly,
forgotten in each other,
forgetting the world that has judged them to this
this is a dance where heaven and hell meet,
becoming one,
proving that there can never be one without the other
that in fact they aren't two different things,
but one, ever swirling madly, forever entwined
and so pain becomes sweetness
and sweetness pain,
ever renewing in this intoxicating dance
if they cry in grief or ecstasy, it's impossible to tell
they are tainted angels of twisted, intertwined faiths,
never pure enough, never dark and stained enough,
or maybe both
this dance that teaches them to fly, tears their wings
they were always this doomed,
and this is the only way they can exist,
but this will also end that existence
this love was never meant to be, never,
and yet it will last – indeed – 'til the end of time
as a strange, doomed dance
A/N: It's quite a simple poem, but I liked the idea when it suddenly popped up out of nowhere. I was watching chapter 24 (We'll Leave Tonight), and it occurred to me that it truly is like a strange, dark dance, that will only lead to complete and utter destruction...
