"A Galaxy of Longing"
A lone figure sat on a park bench, on a harsh winter's day. The cold did not deter lovers from taking a stroll together, with their hands clasped tight, braving the bitter wind. The cold did not discourage the young boy from chasing the snowflakes, with his mouth at the ready. All around, he saw people, families, couples, children, all laughing, having fun, having somebody.
They used to come here often, wandering through the paths, with their arms linked, as she pointed out every flower she saw, and their son tottering around them. But it had been years since she died, and years since his only son left to elope with her. In that moment, he regretted all the bitter, disparaging words, wishing that he could turn back the time, to when his son had announced his intentions of marrying her. He longed for his family again, or just anyone willing to talk to an ex Death Eater at least. He grimaced at the painful recollections of the past, when a hand suddenly came to rest on his shoulder. He froze, wondering who it could be. The hand most definitely belonged to a male; it was strong and warm, though slightly pale.
"Father."
Slowly, he turned his body around, eyes travelling up to the person firmly holding his shoulder. His eyes teared up at the sight of his smiling son, where he stood with the other arm wrapping around his pregnant wife's waist.
"Mummy! Mummy!" A young boy's voice rang out from behind his son, catching his attention.
"Scorpius, say hello to your Grandfather." Came Hermione's gentle voice, as she coaxed the little boy out behind Draco's legs.
"Grandpa?" Scorpius questioned.
"Yes, love" Lucius spoke with a slight sob, as he held his arms out, to clutch him tight, "Grandpa."
