Severus Snape knew it was going to happen before it did. As the snake crept up to him, he felt his face turn white. Severus Snape was not a coward, never is, never was and never will be. Still, this was too much for him.
"M-my Lord…" he whimpered.
The dark lord's face showed no mercy. As quick as lightning, he felt a pain surge through his arm. As the dark lord stalked out, Harry Potter stepped out of his invisibility cloak. Severus gasped for breath for a while. He gazed up at Harry Potter's face, so like his arrogant father's, yet so much like his mother.
"Take it."Snape murmured. White stuff gushed out of his ears, eyes and mouth.
"L-look at m-me…" Snape said. Green eyes met black and Severus knew he was going to die. Severus Snape gazed up at Lily Evan's son to see her green eyes for the last time. His last thought was, Lily, I'm coming for you.
