Percy and Grover sat by the lake, doing nothing. After what felt like hours, Grover took out his reed pipes.
"Please don't play any Hilary Duff!" Percy begged upon seeing him. Grover rolled his eyes.
"No, I won't play Hilary Duff. It's this song I learned from some muskrats one time. It's called 'Muskrat Love'." Percy bit the insides of his cheeks to stop from laughing. When Grover started to play, Percy's eyes watered and he let out what sounded like a sob.
When Grover finished, he brought the reed pipes down from his lips and wiped his eyes with the sleeve of his shirt. "Don't you just love that?" Grover asked, letting out a sob. Percy didn't answer. Instead, he ran away towards the Athena cabin.
Percy knocked on the door frantically. Annabeth opened it up and Percy stepped inside before falling on the floor laughing.
"What's so funny, Seaweed Brain?" Annabeth asked, crossing her arms and glancing down at Percy.
"Grover just played this song on the reed pipes called Muskrat Love. The darn funniest thing you'll ever hear." Percy replied before getting up to catch his breath. "Open the window."
The window was opened and the sound of reed pipes being played in the distance filled the cabin. Annabeth looked at Percy before both of them fell to the ground laughing hysterically.
