So I watched 'Reunion' today and was inspired to write some stuff. Spoilers ahead!
"Are you jealous, Hikari?"
The brunette looked at him, clearly amused. Why would he think that she was jealous over some girl whom he claimed was only a 'friend'? She knew that Takeru had grown to be a babe-magnet (as she heard Mimi put not so delicately during their conversation with Sora over the internet) and, strangely enough, didn't have any issues with that. Why would she? The blonde would remain to be her precious, best friend no matter if he got a girlfriend or not.
"Not a chance."
"That's what I thought."
Takeru had said that with a laugh, similiar thoughts swimming in his mind. While a lot of people were obsessing over Hikari, all the girl cared about was ice cream (and getting Taichi to pay for it). Even so, if a guy ever did catch the Ice Queen's closed off heart, he knew that they would still be friends, for the good and the bad. As they neared the Yagami's apartment building, he turned around and waved with a smile as he turned to leave.
"See you tomorrow!"
"See ya!"
Hikari watched him leave and turned around to head back home when a strong gust of wind made her gasp, trying to keep down the way too short skirt of her school uniform down. When she looked up to see what caused it, nothing was there and all was calm. Shrugging, the chosen of Light kept heading to her apartment while trailing around with her bike.
She would find out if was something was wrong, after all.
