A/N a story/poem about what it would be like if Gimli died in a cave-in and Legolas died of grief.

Silent bodies,
side by side.
Pale faces,
staring to the over night sky

Memories of a storm of rocks,
visions of a falling cave.
Panicked blood,
life flows quickly away.

Never day, never night,
continuous pain.
Life lingers,
Death came so slowly.

Bittersweet friends,
Hand in hand,
side by side,
greeting death together.
