Romans, thanks to Snyder and his little 'make Xanders life hell' plots the entire gang was forced into trick or treating this year, and to make matters worse they had to be authentic period costumes from that new 'Ethans' place on third.

Buffy had pulled 'Victorian' out of Snyders little bucket o fun, something that had her struggling to hide a smile under her frown at the thought of how Angel would like her as a real lady, Willow had pulled 'hippie' from the bucket and was probably going to swipe some of her moms stuff when she got home to make the costume authentic.

Xander though, had pulled 'Roman' and been quickly informed that throwing a sheet around himself and calling it a Toga would not be acceptable and would result in him spending the next two years in detention, A fate only slightly worse than death in his not so inconsiderable opinion.

And that found him here, standing in the deepest darkest creepiest part of Ethans costume shop, a place that was currently creeping him out more than his little trip down into the Hellmouth with Angel a couple month's back, but at least it had some parts for his costume.

Scraping up what he could for a passing fair Roman legionnaire Xander hauled the assorted good up to the front and dropped it onto the counter with a thud and startling the proprietor considerably.

"I say, I can't imagine where you managed to find this, I thought all my Centurions were sold out ages ago." The older man said as he looked over the costume critically before his attention was diverted by Larry as the big football player managed to knock over a row of dresses as he tried to find a pirate costume of some sort, "Drat, very well, twenty two fifty and return it by tomorrow if you please" Ethan said distractedly before rushing off to save his investments from the horrors of the American teens.

Dropping the money on the counter Xander hauled the costume outside and quickly made his way home, later on Ethan would be horrified to discover his original Centurion armor had been swiped from the back room and made a mental note to add something nasty to the young man who had taken it.

At home Xander finished up the last few pieces of his costume before putting it on, even the sword was real thanks to a quick sneak back into the Library at school and a liberation of one of Giles' priceless antiques not that he intended to hurt it but as much time and effort as had gone into the Centurion armor the least he could do was make it look good.

Tonight was going to be so cool.

-Scene Break-

Roranicus Pondicus spun in place as he looked over the ensuing chaos with a frown, several things were distinctly out of place, first and foremost this was not Leadworth, not London or anywhere else the Pandorica was likely to be held.

Secondly the Pandorica was nowhere nearby, he could always tell where it was, not the box itself but Amy, he could always tell where Amy was and somehow it was like, she just wasn't here anymore. And that was something that could not possibly end well for whoever had taken her away from him.

Finally there was a rather high number of small snarling aliens rushing about causing chaos and random destruction in the small suburb he found himself in, and while that was less than uncommon for someone that traveled with the doctor it was something of a surprise that he didn't have someone telling him to run.

Smiling darkly as the more brutal Roman came to the forefront the last Centurion went in search of his wife, before him a small army of demons and vampires took one look at his face and fled in terror.

A good man was once again going to war.
