Edges

E/O Drabble Challenge, word: cube.

Summary: Things might look unsuspicious from the outside – and a whole lot different from within. Winchesters should know that...

Sharp edges, like blades, dangerous to whoever dared to touch it.

Smooth surface – giving nothing away about it's hidden secrets.

"I am"

One excruciating tsunami-wave was crushing into him, leaving him gasping and cradled by what felt like an octopus.

Sam's eyes looked salty and terrified and huge, and he followed them to the torched remnants of the cube.

He leaned back into safety.
