"What?" Yelled Jeff.

"Don't yell at me! You promised her yesterday that she could cook dinner tonight." Replied his wife, Sasha, sternly.

I guess this night (Spring 2) was what had started the miracle that changed the lives of a few citizens in Mineral Town. Jeff was a shy man in a white dress shirt and black pants who ran Mineral Towns' supermarket and had a knack for art. His wife, Sasha, wore an indigo dress and white blouse. She was a constant gossiper and was very controlling.

They were talking about their daughter Karen. Karen had long brown hair like her mom and wore an outfit made up of a purple vest, jean shorts, white shirt, and tan boots. Karen could dance, sing, and flirt, but she could not cook.

Every Spring 22, Karen would entered the Cooking Festival. Sadly, her food and juices were... unsatisfactory. Causing her to never win. Once Sasha even got into a fight with the Judge. No matter what though, Karen never gave up.

"Dinner!" Karen called out from the other room. Jeff and Sasha looked and gave weak smiles at each other. They entered the dining area and solemnly sat down while Karen served them. She said it was chicken but it looked more liek a ball of ash to Jeff.

Karen looked at her parents and smiled. "Eat up." she said.

Jeff hesitantly put his fork in the ash/chicken and brought it to his mouth. He looked at it for a few seconds and started eating it. To Jeff, it tasted like peppers and mayo. His throat itched and itched but he did his best not to cough so he wouldn't hurt Karens feelings. His wife looked pale while eating hers.

After dinner while washing dishes Sasha approached Jeff.

"We have to tell her dear." She told him.

"I know, but she loves to cook." replied Jeff.

"But she must know that she's no good at cooking and that she should take up another hobby..."

Suddenly, it dawned on Jeff. "I know what to do!" He replied to her. He ran to the storefront with Sasha right behind him. Jeff reached into a drawer and pulled out an ad. Slamming it on the counter he pointed at it. "Look!" He told her.

"What is it?" she asked.

"The answer to our problem!"

Karen was on a bench the next day right outside her parents store sitting with her boyfriend Rick. Rick was a nerdy guy with straw blonde hair and glasses.

"I can't wait untill the cooking festival this year!" She exclaimed.

Rick looked nervously over at Karen. "Me either..." He looked at her again and said "Karen, about your cooking..."

"Oops, look at the time. Bye Rick!"

Karen left off in a hurry and went inside. Truth was Karen was aware of how bad she was at cooking, she's not a dits like Popuri or anything. And it isn't like shouldn't couldn't see the looks on everyones faces whenever she talked about cooking.

'It's not fair!' she thought furiously. 'All I ever really wanted to be good at was a good cook."

After shuffling through the door and shutting it, her mom called her to the living room. Karen obeyed and entered.

"What is it Mom?"

"It's about your cooking Karen." Her mom replied.

"You can't stop me from cooking Mom!"

"I know that, so I..."

"What?"

"We're hiring a cooking tutor for you from the city."
