The old man filed through the papers on the desk. He wouldn't call the desk his own anymore since his son now ran hellsing. He just couldn't get used to not waking up when the sun rose and went to his office to work. Those days seemed to long ago now.. He wished he could go back to those times. He sighed and went through the work. His son was doing a great job so far. He smiled, and Alucard thought he wouldn't make a good leader. He chuckled and set the papers down and rolled the chair to look out the window. It was fall, the leafs were turning their golden colours. Burning red, golden yellow and a beautiful orange. He closed his eyes and sat in the chair in quiet for a few moments. He then heard his son coming back from a meeting. He knew he should leave but if he didn't feel like leaving. He smiled, he remember when his son went through his things while he was out. No mater how hard his son tried he always knew that he had been in his office.

"No, " the voice of his son sounded close by. He gave some orders then opened the door to the office. "And- Father!" he gasped and rushed over. "What are you doing here?"

Abraham turned around to face his son. "Being in my room sleeping all day gets boring," he smiled. His son sighed and walked over to stand by his father

"You know the doctors sai-"

"I know what they said, and I just wished to get out for a while," he cut his son off, grabbed his cane and got to his feet. He made his way slowly towards the door and out of it. Arthur knew better to get help for his father. He just stood there watching him leave in till the door closed and he sat down.
