So for English class we had to write about another pilgrim in Chaucer's style, so I did an OC and this is how it turned out.

Disclaimer: I do not own the Canterbury Tales, nor do I know who, if anyone does. I also do not own Chaucer's writing style.

Also came a girl named Moreen Elsdon Summers.

At first sight of her, she appeared dumber

Then she later revealed. A sharp and quick wit

Was disguised behind smiles that seemed to emit

Innocence and childish purity.

So it is for your own security,

Never turn your back on her, I advise,

Lest you find the wool pulled over your eyes

As everyone points and laughs at your catastrophe.

Though her name's familial, she prefers Emmy

In a bold renunciation of parents

That never cared beyond appearance.

Her personality could change rapidly;

From fun-loving to remarks full of apathy

And although many see a delicate girl

She hides an old soul and a very rare pearl.

As for why she travels, none know her intent

And all highly doubt she is coming to repent.
