Kind of a dabble of sorts, first one-shot. Tara/Ryan breakup! I don't own, sadly. CC is welcome. Review and tell me what you think. No flames please. Hope you like. :)
Tara was being dragged along. The guards weren't very forgiving of her arms. That didn't matter to her, she was just happy to have a visitor. When she saw who it was, she was relieved and angry.
"Tara."
"Ryan." Her angry left her quickly. She was happy to see him. "I'm happy you're here."
"You asked me to come. I wanted to know why."
"I wanted to see you. I missed you."
"If that's all Tara…" he began to stand.
"No, Ryan, please stay longer." He sat back down. "Why'd you have me sent here?"
"I thought you would figure it out by now."
"But I didn't do anything…"
"Wrong? Tara, you not only Horatio, you hurt Kyle. You hurt me. I was nearly killed because of what you did."
"Ryan, I never intended to anyone, especially you. I love you."
"If you loved me, you would have stopped when I found out. You would have stopped before I found out."
"But I do Ryan."
"Tara, the moment you started stealing those pills, you had a problem. You could've gotten help. I would have been there for you."
"You've got to understand Ryan…"
"I did, but then you continued. You lied to Horatio and me."
"Please forgive me."
"Tara, if you did what I told you, I would have. In this case, I just can't."
Tara felt tears in her eyes. She couldn't help but beg one last time. "Please, stay with me."
"Tara, this ended the moment I saw all those pills in your locker."
"You said you loved me."
"I did. You killed that." Ryan left her. The unforgiving guard dragged her back to her cell. That's where she cried. Not only did she lose her job and freedom, she lost Ryan, and all because of her dumb mistake. 'I should have never taken those pills.' She thought. 'Now I've lost everything.' And she sat in the dark and cried herself to sleep.
