A/N: I plan to continue this story (which was originally posted on my blog) as part of my first drabble collection. For every chapter are exactly 100 words, but the themes may vary depending on a prompt I can think of. First part is inspired by Ichigo and Rukia's meeting as "Death and Strawberry."
Chapter One—Luminary
Karakura is a tedious town of torment. For Kurosaki Ichigo, 15 years old, living his average, ordinary, everyday life in this place is tantamount to finding the same events occur in his nightmares. A teenager's got to go to school and do homework, but being so young makes him vulnerable about feeling dreary.
In a distant future, he could hear his heart pulsating against the backdrop of furious howling. He carries a sword and a fighting stance; the wounds of the battle damned. Eventually, staying up after dark lessens the ordeal thanks to the moon that illuminates by his side.
