"We're moving.. to Kanto?!" Dawn boomed, her mouth wide open. "What? But we love Sinnoh! Mum do we have to move?" Barry whined.

Johanna, their mother, stood before them with her arms crossed. "Dawn and Barry Berlitz! I thought you'd be happy for a new start! Especially considering there's not much for either of you here, anymore. Besides, this is a new start for us all and it's best for my career." The women admitted, frowning at her two children.

Johanna was right, Dawn felt she was only facing heartbreak after heartbreak in this town. Lucas was her first love, but when moving away to Unova, he decided to let her go. Then Kenny weaseled his way into her heart, but cheated on her a few months after them dating. She then had a crush on Paul, but he rejected her. Currently, a creepy guy named Conway had taken a shine to her, but she was far from interested. The blue haired girl believed she wouldn't find love, but maybe a change of lifestyle might help.

As for Barry, he'd also struggled to find love. He had dated numerous girls; Ursula, Zoey, Leona... Before he realised he truly wasn't attracted to girls and that he was actually attracted to guys. He had told Dawn and Johanna that he felt something was wrong with him, as he liked men instead of women, but they claimed there wasn't anything wrong with him and sometimes boys fall in love with boys and girls fall in love with girls.

The twins thought about the failed attempts at love, they'd had in this town, and agreed with their mother.

"Mum, you're right. It's time to move on." Dawn spoke up. "Yeah, there's not much here for us anymore." Barry added. "Sweet." Johanna smiled, clapping her hands together. "Time to get packing, we're leaving in two weeks."

And did those two weeks fly..

Before they knew it, the twins found themselves boarding an airplane, with their mother.

"I call window seat!" Dawn boomed, racing to the allocated row of seats for the trio. "No fair! I'll beat you to it!" Barry huffed, chasing after her. Johanna just sighed, knowing this would end in a shit show. Her seventeen year old children, fought over everything.

She reached the row of seats where the two had collided. "Hey! Move it!" Dawn snarled as Barry snarled back, both of them trying to shove eachother out of the way.

"That's it! I'm taking the window seat!" Johanna growled as her kids fell quiet. Minutes passed and the mother found herself comfortably seated by the window while her children sat beside her, away from the window seat. "This blows.." Barry sighed as Dawn just rolled her eyes.

The trio found themselves studying the back of their eyelids, as they had a long flight ahead of them.

Hours passed and an announcement had awoken them; "We will be landing in Viridian City in about half an hour."

"Guys, wake up, look!" Dawn spoke up, waking up her mother and brother. "Huh? Are we there yet?" Barry asked, in a yawn. "Almost." Johanna said quietly as the three looked out the window, taking in the view of Kanto. It certainly looked different from Sinnoh.

"I have a couple of friends in Kanto." Johanna spoke up, the twins looking to her. "Their names are Delia and Samuel and they both have kids about your age." She added. "We'll be living in Pallet Town, but you'll both go to school in Viridian City, where their kids attend as well."

"Thank god, school won't feel so bad if we know people already." Barry admitted, sighing happily. "We have to meet them first." Dawn teased, hoping they were friendly.

Johanna talked on more about how she'd met Samuel and Delia and her journey through Kanto but before she could add too much detail, the plane had landed.

This made Dawn and Barry feel relieved as their mother does not stop talking when she gets started.

Once the plan had come to a complete stop and the cabin crew were allowed to let passengers collect their bags and leave, Dawn and Barry had quickly grabbed their stuff, as well as their mother's stuff.

They'd exited the plane and taken in the Kanto air. It felt strange to be in another region. Really strange. But like their mother had implied, they could do with a new start.

The trio climbed into a bus, which lead to Pallet town. Dawn and Barry had looked out the windows, taking in the sights of their new home region. It certainly was different from Sinnoh, Sinnoh was more green whereas Kanto was more dry.. it could be the difference in seasons though.. In Sinnoh it was Winter whereas it was Summer in Kanto currently.

The bus pulled up outside a large, vacant house, now owned by Johanna Berlitz and her twins.

Johanna unlocked the door and strolled inside, feeling a burst of excitement. Dawn and Barry wandered inside, amazed by the house.

"It's so big!" They both admitted, before looking to eachother. "I call first on picking a room!" The blue haired girl and blonde haired boy screeched at eachother before dropping their luggage and racing up the stairs, trying to beat one another. Johanna just sighed, "They're never going to grow up.."

Johanna was about to head upstairs and make sure her kids didn't break anything as they ran to choose a room, as they wanted the best one, but the doorbell rang.

The mother turned to the door and walked over, leaving her kids as she was curious to who was at the door. She turned the doorknob and opened it, to see a tall boy stand in the doorway, with brown eyes and spiky black hair, holding a plate of cookies.

"Hi, My name is Ash Ketchum, my Mum wanted me to deliver these to you." The boy smiled, offering the plate to the women. "It's nice to meet you Ash! You must be Delia's son- God you've grown up." Johanna admitted, accepting the plate.

"While you're here Ash, I'll introduce you to my children, they're about your age." The blue haired women smiled before calling her kids, "Dawn! Barry!"

Two teenagers came down the stairs, angrily muttering to eachother as they walked, before looking up to Johanna. "I'd like you both to meet Ash, he's Delia's son and he lives next door." She smiled.

Ash looked to the twins, giving a smile. "It's nice to meet you." Both Dawn and Barry didn't reply, both silent as they looked at the boy. They were both lost for words, looking at Ash. Dawn and Barry gazed, still taken aback by how he looked; they both found him very attractive.

"Kids?" Johanna sweatdropped as her twins were looking at Ash, their mouths dropped. Dawn spoke up, "I'm Dawn, it's a pleasure to meet you." She held out her hand for a handshake and as Ash went to shake it, Barry quickly shoved his sister out of the way. "I'm Barry, it's nice to meet you too!" He boomed, shaking Ash's hand as the raven haired boy sweatdropped.

"Hey!" Dawn huffed, shoving her brother back. Johanna sighed, noticing Ash look awkward. "Don't mind them, they fight all the time." Ash just chuckled nervously, "It's nothing.. I'm gonna head home, I'll see you guys another time."

"Bye Ash!" Dawn and Barry called as he left, before looking at eachother with anger. Johanna closed the door, holding the plate of cookies in her hands. "He's certainly grown up! Quite a little spunk." She admitted, turning around to her children.

"Oh yeah, he's cute.. Someone needs to back off.." Dawn trailed off, glaring at Barry. "Maybe you should back off, let me be happy in a relationship for once." Barry replied, glaring equally as hard at his sister. "With your luck, he's probably straight." The blue haired girl grinned, crossing her arms. "And with your luck, he might not be straight.." Barry grinned back.

Johanna just sighed, "Dont tell me now you're going to fight over boyfriends too.."

A/N; I apologise this is short, but I decided to make the prologue in Normal POV and to be short and sweet. This book will probably have slow updates as Boarding School of Horrors is my main focus.

To any readers, I have to ask. Team Dawn or Team Barry?
