Pairing: Harry/Theo

Harry was frustrated and anybody looking at him could tell it. He was in a love with a boy that loved him back but he wasn't sure that it was going to last between them no matter how much both of them wanted it to. He walked into the classroom that him and Theo used to meet when they wanted to get together during a school day. He ran a hand through his hair as his eyes met and locked with Theo's eyes. "Theo, I love you like I never thought I would love anyone. I especially never thought that I would fall with someone when there is a war brewing that I'm right in the front lines of. I have never asked you for anything other than your love but I'm asking you for something now. You need to choose your side. I don't care if it's light, neutral, or dark but you need to choose. I need to keep you safe because if anything happened to you I don't think that I would survive. You are the light in my world. You are my other half. I don't give a bloody hell what anyone else says. You get to choose your side because I won't be the one to do it for you and I won't allow someone else to force you to choose either."
Theo couldn't help but smile because he knew that Harry meant every word that he said. With his eyes still locked on Harry's eyes he walked over and came to a stop right in front of Harry. "Harry, don't you realize that I already chose my side? I chose it the first time we kissed. My side is whatever side you are on, Harry. I will be damned if I'm not by your side when you go into battle. I'll be damned if I lose you because just like you said if something happened to you I wouldn't survive. I love you, Harry Potter, and I choose you. Do you know why I choose you?"
Harry shook his head and whispered "Why?"
Theo licked his suddenly dry lips before he replied. "I choose you because you didn't ask me to choose you, Harry. Yes, you told me to choose a side but I did that a long time ago even though you didn't know it. I choose you because without you I'm nothing. I choose you because I love you with everything I have and everything I am. Finally I choose you because you give me a choice. You don't demand or expect anything yet you give everything. I choose you, Harry, just like you chose me."
Harry yanked Theo towards him and kissed him deeply. He really couldn't be any happier than he was right that second because he had everything he could ever want in his life. He knew that with Theo at his side that he could end this war and come out of it alive. He snogged Theo and himself breathless, broke the kiss, and then snogged Theo again. He thanked Merlin that Theo had chosen him because even if Theo would have chosen the dark side he still wouldn't give him up. He had meant it when he said that he couldn't survive without having Theo in his life like this. Yes he thanked Merlin for making his wish come true.
