An eternity of companionship.
To shield innocent eyes from the radiance of joy
Or from the rage of happiness
Alongside was suffering
For spoils I did endure,
Stained chastity with the dirt of malice
Nakedness of truth stand unrevealed
In a world where the sun doth not rise
Nor the glass moon dare hide;
When the smile is devastated then anger reigns.
I have forgotten love.
Love has forsaken me.
Better yet, to give pain and suffering.
Better yet, to hate…
Because that is all I have.
