Dear Diary, I finally got asked out today. It was the really cute guy that sits next to me in Math too. Everything went great for awhile. We watched "Forest Gump". Gary and I walked home but dad was waiting for me at the door. The next thing I know Gary is out cold on the lawn. Next time I'll tell dad when I'm going to be late getting home. I hope Gary doesn't this against me even if it was my dad that broke his nose.
Dear Diary, Gary is better but now he's scared to even look at me. The worst part is he's telling all the boys about me. I made the mistake of telling dad how mean he's being to me. The doctors say Gary's arm will never be the same.
Dear Diary, I told dad about my new boyfriend Jesse. I thought he seemed cool about it. I invited him over and guess what. Dad scared him off. At least he wasn't hurt, just hearing my dad say "If you want to date my daughter you have to get through me" was enough for him. I liked Jesse too. He seemed so smart.
Dear Diary, That's it! I've had it up to here with him chasing my boyfriends away! I'm going to ask Uubu to help. I don't think dad will kick him out that easy. If he lets me date Uubu then I might have a shot at getting a real date.
