Demyx could NOT believe this. He really, really couldn't. It was simply unbelievable, unthinkable, impossible. There was just no way, no way, that they could be serious.

Everyone knew Demyx and fighting did not get along. Sure he was reasonably strong but! And here's the important part, but he really didn't like combat. It simply wasn't his thing. Recon and evasive maneuvers, those were the things he was good at. He had to go on a little spying mission? Sure, he'd sneak into the most guarded place in the world to eavesdrop on the leaders and be back without anyone the wiser. Stealing something, anything, was even easier; he could get in and get out without having to wait around for some tidbit of information that may or may not even be included in his report. He excelled at those kinds of missions.

Which is why he had to wonder, just what had possessed the others to make them think that he being responsible for Sora was a good idea? Did Demyx think it was a good idea? Well, he wasn't too fond of combat, that much was obvious. His history of past missions even showed it! So no, he thought it was a terrible idea. He would've protested if he was able to.

Haha. That was funny. As if he'd really be able to protest against those scary superiors. So maybe it was just as well that he really had no choice but to go skipping off after Sora and maybe try to pick a few fights.

It was too bad that he really didn't want to. After all, Sora was strong. He should know; he'd already been beaten by the kid before! And…he had a bad feeling about the next time he fought Sora.

A really terrible feeling.
