Chapter 1: Petunia
Lady Kippy went through at least 3 boyfriends today.
"Ask him if he likes me."
Of course I said yes, not knowing worse things would occur later.
He was a nice cat. Not very tall, like me, but average. And he was blue. We had so much in common together. We both liked some of the same sports and he made me laugh. When we finally went out to Club 88, it wasn't fun. I thought it was a good place to go but I was wrong.
A few hours' later things were rough between Lady and me. We both were in love with him and eventually made him choose.
"I choose…Petunia."
I was filled with joy. Forever in love.
Chapter 2: Lady Kippy
I was filled with hatred. Forever hating her.
I wasn't going to be her friend ever again.
Was I sure? Yeah, pretty sure.
She stole him from me and I wanted him back. He was mine so I did the worst thing possible; I unfriened her. I shouted and yelled, but the sensitive purple cat just stood there crying and reminding me of all the good times we once had. I went back to my house alone with the picture of her crying stuck in my head. And to think about my hatred for her for betraying me as a friend.
Chapter 3: Petunia
I ran away from him. I really loved him, Clyde. He was perfect for me, but… If I lost a best friend for a guy, did I really win it all?
I ran to think about it and made my decision about what I was going to do. And I decided so I called Clyde to come to me and explain what my heart said.
Chapter 4: Clyde
"I think we need to break up."
It was all too much for me to handle. Lady, Petunia, all of it.
Chapter 5: Petunia
The worst new came after I said, "I think we need to break up. I may have won you, but did I lose it all?"
He wanted to break up with me. Heart torn up apart. I cried and cried. Then finally someone came to me.
"Are you okay?"
"No not really."
Chapter 6: Lady Kippy
Clyde. He came to me. Invited my ex-best friend and my other friend, Millie, and took us to the lake. I re-friended Petunia and he was choosing between us again. I suppose Petunia was desperate or really in love.
"Lady," he said. "you would make me the happiest man in the world if…"
He grabbed my hands and got down on one knee. I smiled and looked back to see Petunia sobbing quietly. She never cries around me. She tried to look happy but I could see behind it.
Broken heart.
I felt like a jerk. He finished his proposal and Petunia had left right away.
Chapter 7: Petunia
I left that pond feeling empty. Mad at Lady more than Clyde. I found my other friend again. She was a therapist.
"Boyfriend. Friend. Wedding." I kept saying over and over.
I went to the wedding and met other friends along the way, ex boyfriends and new people. The wedding was long. Clyde Jr. was in charge. He was a jerk.
I stood there watching.
"Boyfriend. Friend. Wedding." I kept whispering louder and louder. Until it was over I kept saying it. Then my friend came up and said, "Are you okay?"
I fell hard as the darkness hit. The last words I herd were, "SOMEONE QUICK! CALLAN AMBULANCE CHASER!
No! I thought. It's a Cog.
