This is my first FF so criticize constructively please!
Jake and Nessie on IM-
Rc: Hey jakey!
Jb: Oh,er…hi Nessie
Rc: Im so bored now, Im about to die.
Jb: Y? What on earth can make YOU bored?
Rc: William Shakespeare. Curse that guy…
Jb: Shall I compare thine eyes to a summers day?
Rc: Aww, Cute. I miss you Jake.
Jb: Well I cant see you till next week cuz of you-know-who.
Rc: My dad? Come on…He'll get over it.
Jb: Really? Cuz I love my arms !
Rc: The arm threat again? He is so un-original *eyeroll*. Fine if youre too scared then ill come to you.
Jb: Me? What the- I don't think you should do that Ness…
Rc: Why? *pout*
Jb: Because *superpout* Id rather not have him angry at you too.
Rc: Whatever. Expect me in about ten minutes
Jb: No Ness!
Rc is now offline.
I realized, as I ran through the forest from the cottage that this was beyond the most stupid idea id had in a while. Of course when yore love starved, stupid and smart seem to make no sense to you. So here I am, sprinting through the forest at 1 in the morning and looking behind me like a fugitive to make sure I wasn't being followed. I ran into Jakes yard and (lo and behold: I picked something up from Shakespeare) he was standing there with his arms wide open and a smile on his face that would break anybody's heart, waiting for me. I jumped into his arms and breathed in his musky scent, marveling in the realization that he was all mine.
I leaned back to get a better look at him and he was still smiling
" OK maybe this wasn't such a bad idea Ness" he said, then he leaned in and kissed my forehead.
" Are my ideas EVER bad?" I asked him
He smiled " Sometimes" he said playfully ruffling my hair.
We walked hand in hand into the house when I suddenly realized that I hadn't seen Billy. "Where's Billy?" I asked
" He's down at the Makah rez for a wedding" he said smugly " So were all alone…" his voice turned into a whisper at the end and he moved towards me.
" Don't get any ideas Jake, because I know what you're th- HEY!" he had picked me up and set me on the countertop in a very compromising position. I wiggled my finger disapprovingly in his face " Not now. At least lets do something else first. Like um…Ice cream?" My outlook brightened at the prospect of frozen creamy goodness.
( I loves me some ice cream!). He sighed and turned to get the ice cream out of the freezer. " Cookies and cream! My favorite!"
Ten minutes later we had finished the tub and were lying side by side on the floor in the living room. " Dee-lish" I said, licking my spoon for the um-teenth time.
Jacob laughed and rolled onto his side so that he was facing me " How can you eat so much ice cream?" He laughed and put his finger on the side of my mouth. He took the ice cream there and put it in his mouth " EWWWW! Gross Jake"…..
