A pink hedgehog sat on her balcony, staring off into the moonlit sky. Sighing, she looked at the picture in her hand...


Hoping it will come today

It was of the one she loved with all her heart. Sonic Hedgehog, to be exact... She longed with all her heart that he would embrace her, in the ways she have always dreamed of...


Into the starlit night

She looked at the moon, as if it would help her with her lovelife. She looked carelessly back at her past, and wondered if Sonic really even liked her...


Foolish dreamers turn their gaze

Amy thought he loved her, but was shy... Now that she thought of it more intensely, she realised she had been wrong...


Waiting on a shooting star

Looking up into the sky, a single tear dropped down to the ground. Her jade eyes sparkled, brimming with tears, waiting to come out of their long hiding place. Those tears had wited for this moment...


But

Her hopes seemed to drop, along with those castaway tears... She let them fall, making dark patches on the ground...


What if that star is not to come ?

She realised now that she had been a fool. A despised, lovesick fool...


Will their dreams fade to nothing ?

She tossed her only picture of him carelessly into the wind... Her dreams had went along with that picture, and she let them go...


When the horizon darkens most

She had been wrong. She slid open the door and walked inside, briefly getting a small suitcase.


We all need to believe there is hope

She beleived in hope, but she also beleived there was none that existed in her heart, at least, not any more...


Is an angel watching closely over me ?

Carelessly tossing a few belongins, she opened her door to freedom...


Can there be a guiding light I've yet to see ?

Walking out, she spotted a shooting star. Wishing with all of her heart, she wished that her love would see her in a limelight. Maybe even search for her...


I know my heart should guide me but

Her heart said to stay in Station Square, where her love rested...


There's hole within my soul

But now, her soul was almost empty, as if not caring. Placing her hand on her heart, she promised her love to come back. Then, taking a last look at the city, she boarded the night train...


What will fill this emptiness inside of me ?

Her love would never fill the empitness inside of her, for he would never even care for it... She rested her head on the chair and closed her eyes.


Am I to be satisfied without knowing ?

Maybe she would finally be content with life now. Maybe, just maybe, she would have a new, loved life.


I wish then for a chance to see

She opened her eyes and saw something blue outside of her window. She had made a mistake, but she did not care of it...


Now all I need desperately

She needed to find her soulmate on her journey through life. Her heart longed for someone to love her, no matter who, just to be loved lit a smile on her face...
