Looking over the battlefield, a single human figure stood at the top of the clocktower looking over Velder. He watched as the El Search Party arrived in the city, he had been watching since their journey began. Lying in wait for the right moment to appear. He watched as the demons ravaged the city, he found this scene odd because demons usually attack in unorganized teams of brute strength. This hinted towards some sort of higher force commanding them from behind the scenes. He knew that the band of heroes would soon have to fight said force and at that time in the midst of the chaotic battle, he would reveal himself. He planned to make a huge entrance of course, he would use his most powerful attack. After doing that he would emerge from his hiding spot and greet the heroes with as much hospitality as possible. He knew that it would be hard to convince them to let him join, but he had to. If they were to face the upcoming trials, they would need someone with a grasp of the situation that could fight. As the plan ran through his mind, he sighed. From his pack he brought a canteen filled with one of his greatest creations:
"Deta blend #102, my personal favorite."
