Where Purple Met Green
A/N: This is a sequel of my other story Sweet Little Girl.
Summary: Evanna meets Percy Jackson.
Alantis
Evanna looked around. Her eyes narrowed. Then without warning, she launched herself at her father, catching him off-guard.
"Please Daddy! Let me meet him!" Evanna then gave him the look that made every god/goddess crumble (except Athena). The Puppy Eyes. But they were his weakness. Poseidon getting a full blast of the look, sighed heavily.
"Go change into everyday clothes then we will go to Camp Half-Blood to see your brother."
"Yay!"
And so Evanna -in purple pajamas- ran off to get ready.
Camp Half-Blood
Chiron looked up in shock as a god flashed in. Not just any god but Poseidon. And he had a little girl with him who was marching determinedly towards the door with an adorable concentrating look on her look on her face. Poseidon followed her. Chiron just looked on in confusion.
Evanna was determined to find her big brother. She had just got her wish to meet him. She would not lose this chance. She then, saw a boy who looked like a carbon copy of her dad.
"BIG BROTHER!" Evanna screamed.
Percy looked at the little girl with two braids in her honey-blonde hair, a pink shirt with silver jeans running towards him arms outstretched, he was confused. Then he was tackled into a hug around his waist.
Poseidon stayed a little ways away.
"Hi big brother! Daddy talks about you a lot." The little girl was obviously happy to see him.
"I'm your big brother?" Percy questioned, hoping just hoping he wasn't alone as a child of Poseidon.
"Yep!" she said.
"Well then, what is your name little one?" Percy question as he crouched down next to her.
"Evangelina"
"What a pretty name."
"Thank you."
They then sat in silence.
"Thank you." Evangelina said.
"For what?" Percy asked.
"Giving daddy hope."
"Hope for what?"
"Hope of self-assurance. You see when I met him, I had been taking care of myself at my parents' house. I found on the beach, crying because he thought that he would never fit in because he wasn't as smart as his siblings. When I started living with him, he would tell me stories of you. I realized that you were his rock. The rock that kept him from curling into himself. And for that I thank you."
Percy realized she wasn't like other seven year olds. She was much wiser than them.
"Well you are welcome." Percy said.
Then the brother and sister, talked, chatted and bonded. Poseidon joined them. And the site that greeted the campers was a family enjoying their time together. Too soon for them, it was time for Evanna and Poseidon to leave.
"We shall visit again, my son." Poseidon hugged his son then let go.
"Will I see you again?" Evanna cried, tears down her cheeks, hugging him desperately.
"I will see you again. That I promise." Percy gently took her out of the hug.
Poseidon picked Evanna up and started to walk away.
Then Evanna looked up.
And there was a moment where purple met green.
