Satisfaction
Satisfaction was the only word that could describe the feeling she had right now.
Satisfaction from infiltrating Beacon and illuding detection from the staff and students. Satisfaction from deceiving those children into thinking she was simply another student, but then pulling the rug out from beneath them. Satisfaction from watching the world turn against the Xiao Long girl. Satisfaction from witnessing Pyrrha Nikos – the Invivinble Girl – crumble like a puppet with its strings cut. And satisfaction, oh so exquisite satisfaction from rending the other half of the fall maiden's power from that husk of a girl that Ozpin had tried so desperately to protect.
All of this accumulated into achieving her wish – to watch the world burn.
While the chaos was only localized within the Vale region, the smell of terror and destruction brought forth anticipation for when the other kingdoms would fall. She could imagine right now, the lazy buffoons of Vacuo, the military nuts of Atlas, and those wealthy bigots of Mistral all falling beneath her might.
It was only a matter of time before her goals could be achieved, but first Vale must fall to ash so there is nothing left to rebuild from. Ridding herself of Ozpin was child's play with her newly reunited maiden powers, all that was left was to bend the dragon to her will and then true devastation could occur.
However on last obstacle stood in her way, Pyrrha Nikos was on her way to the top of the tower. What she could possibly achieve, nobody knows. Cinder tore the fall maiden's power from the girl during the transfer, leaving Ozpin and the blond idiot bewildered while little Nikos cowered in her metal box.
The girl should have learned her lesson and stayed put, but no matter, she was just a pest in the presence of an unwavering inferno.
The sounds of metal rupturing and screaming against each other echoed within the elevator shaft, accompanying the screams of fear and growls of grimm that permeated the night. Cinder could hear the girl nearing the top but that didn't her a single bit, nothing could take away this feeling that she was having right now.
Satisfaction from everything going all according to plan.
