All Nightmare Long
Sam glanced down at his fitfully sleeping brother. Once again he wiped the cold cloth over Dean's hot skin. The fever was slowly but surely spinning out of control. So was the infection.
Dean had hidden the wound well. Sam hadn't noticed it until Dean had almost collapsed next to the car.
Dean whimpered miserably. Pain lines appeared on his pale face.
"Hot. 's too hot." Dean shoved weakly at the sheets that covered him. "m' burning. 'm back aren't I?"
"Shhh, Dean, it's okay. You're safe. It's just the fever. You're not in hell." Sam brushed some sweat soaked strands away from Dean's forehead.
Dean's eyes fluttered shut again. "Don' wanna go back...."
