Sonic's pov.
Dear Diary, entry 1
I've been doing this for a long time.. I was only ten when I slayed my first but that was years ago, I'm sixteen now and I'm still hunting down the species of demons who took my parents from me. A ten year old shouldn't have to go through that.
Dear Diary, entry 2
Mom, Dad.. I'll avenge you one day by taking the life of the vampire king. Nothing will stop me, I have friends on my side who have joined my cause even cousin Scourge. I know how you were just as close to him as you were me so fighting for the same goal has kept us together, after all we're all that's left of the family after the accident.
Dear Diary, entry 3
I guess this is how I make a living, when a village or town is under siege from them me and my friends are hired to get rid of them in exchange for a large bounty, we've had some close calls but nothing serious thank goodness..
Dear Diary, entry 4
We might be getting close, I've heard rumors of the vampire king coming out on the night of the blood moon. I hope this is what we've been searching for, the next blood moon won't be for a month or so. I'll keep listening and check other stories to see if it's legit in the meantime I have to tell the others, we have a job tonight and we also need to be ready and what better motivator then finding out our search might be over?

Shadow's pov.
Journal entry 1.
I'm tired of hiding here, but soon I won't have to anymore. The blood moon will make almost invincible. Although what could happen if I just snuck out early, just for one night. I'm their king what could they possibly do to me if I left?
Journal entry 2.
I'm told that a group of hunters have dwindling my peoples population, that simply won't do.. I'm looking forward to my escape tonight I'm looking forward to seeing these so called 'slayers'.
Journal entry 3.
The leader of this group has been revealed to me by a servant of mine. A young man a boy really no older than sixteen. The age I stopped ageing at how coincidental. I am intrigued by this boy, if he is really a threat to me then his blood will be mine. Only hours left until dusk, this will be fun.
