Note: Code Geass is an anime that was done by the studio Sunrise. This story was originally an idea I had for Fiction Press, but I decided to make it a Code Geass fic instead.

One day, Lelouch Lamperouge walked out of his house and was about to go to work. He was in a relaxed, nice mood and he was unaware of the chaotic day ahead of him. He looked around and saw C. C. giving him a ticket. He had a confused look on his face while asking, "What's going on?"

C. C. said, "Lelouch, you parked your car into your neighbor's car. You broke his car trunk and may have caused a few other damages."

Lelouch had a immature smile on his face, while saying, "You win some, you lose some." C. C. frowned at Lelouch.

Lloyd Asplund, one of the neighbors, walked outside and asked, "What's going on?"

C. C. walked up to Lloyd and pointed to Lelouch. She said, "That guy drove his car into your car. Your car trunk is damaged."

Lloyd took a look at Lelouch and said, "I remember you. You're like the funniest neighbor that I've ever had. You're always stealing our other neighbor's mail, crashing their barbeques, and doing pranks. I like having you around." He looked at the car and said, "I'll tell you what. If you take me to lunch this weekend, I won't charge you for the car damages."

Lelouch thought about it and replied, "That seems like a good deal." He shook hands with Lloyd.

C. C. walked up to Lelouch and asked, "How do you keep avoiding trouble? You've done so damage, yet you rarely receive punishment."

Lelouch proudly replied, "It's because I'm so charming.

C. C. warned Lelouch, "One of these days, your troublemaking antics are going to lead you into having an enemy you can't handle."

Lelouch replied, "Don't worry about it. On Saturday, you should lunch with me and that neighbor dude. That guy can talk about goofball stuff, while we flirt."

C. C. responded, "No."

Lelouch said, "One of these days, I'm going to charm your socks off so hard, that you'll have to stock up on socks." He went into his car and started heading to Ashford Academy.

While at a Student Council Meeting, Milly Ashford walked by and said, "Lelouch, a package was delivered outside. It has some material that I plan on using for a new type of pizza. Could you get it for me?"

Lelouch replied, "Sure."

Lelouch walked outside and picked up the package. He looked around and saw Shirley Fenette, who was about to get into her pink car. Lelouch had a smug smile on his face, while saying, "Your car's really nice, but you're way better looking."

Shirley replied, "Thank you." She knew that Lelouch was a very forgetful person, so she reminded him of who she was. She said, "I'm Shirley."

Lelouch shook her hand and said, "I'm Lelouch. Do you live around here?"

Shirley replied, "I live at a friend's house. Her name's C. C. We live about twenty minutes from here."

Lelouch was starting to remember who Shirley was. She had recently gone on a date with Suzaku Kururugi, which didn't work out. He responded, "Interesting. Your ex-boyfriend, Suzaku, is a nightmare around the Student Council. He's always yelling. It disrupts the whole work day."

Shirley started warming up her car while saying, "I'm sorry about that. Some worker has been driving him crazy."

Lelouch replied, "It's probably Rivalz. That guy is such a troublemaker. You probably get lonely, don't you?"

Shirley responded, "Yeah, C. C. works during most of her waking hours and she's my only real friend."

Lelouch had a smug smile on his face while asking, "Then how about making some new friends? A friend and me are going to get lunch on Saturday. We'd be delighted to have you come along."

Shirley replied, "This is such a sudden offer."

Lelouch asked, "Haven't you been lonely long enough?"

Shirley thought about it and was excited to have Lelouch asking her out. She said, "Okay then, Lulu." She wrote her phone number down and handed it to Lelouch. She said, "Text me."

Lelouch replied, "I will."

Lelouch walked back inside and handed the package to Milly. Milly asked, "How come it took you ten minutes to get a package?"

Lelouch said, "I met someone."

Milly replied, "Sounds interesting. Who did you meet?"

Lelouch said, "I got a date."

Milly asked, "With C. C.?"

Lelouch smiled and said, "I met somebody else."

Suzaku walked up to Lelouch and asked, "Who is it?"

Lelouch said, "I'd rather not tell you."

Suzaku angrily asked, "Did you ask out Lola?"

Lelouch casually said, "Kind of."

Suzaku's dislike for Lelouch was starting to turn into a passionate hatred. Suzaku had never been more mad. He poured a cup of coffee and threw it in Lelouch's face. Lelouch asked, "Why are you acting like a brat?"

Suzaku menacingly stared at Lelouch and said, "If you win Shirley's heart, I will ruin your life." Lelouch nervously gulped. Suzaku walked up to Milly and said, "I'm taking a half-day off."

Milly replied, "Very well then." Suzaku punched a hole in Lelouch''s desk and walked out.

Meanwhile, C. C. was at the police station. A young man, named Prince Schneizel, walked in and said, "One of the neighbors on my street has been taking my mail. He took some important letters."

C. C. replied, "Sounds like a Lelouch crime. I'll look into it."

Schneizel responded, "Thank you, Ms. C. C. By the way, I'm Schneizel Vi Britannia."

C. C. said, "Nice to meet you."

Suzaku walked in and pushed Schneizel out of his way. Suzaku walked up to C. C. and said, "I know that getting rid of people is against the law, but can't we make an exception for Lelouch?"

C. C. sternly replied, "No, that type of crime is never okay."

Suzaku said, "Lelouch's driving me nuts. His work antics have been bad enough. He flirted with my ex-girlfriend today. He's going to go out with her. I want to beat him up."

C. C. replied, "Suzaku, your hatred for Lelouch is beyond understandable, but beating him up isn't the answer."

Suzaku angrily asked, "Am I supposed to let that troublemaker torment me at work and take my the love, of my life, away from me?"

C. C. said, "No, but I think there is something I can do about Lelouch. I suspect that he's the one that's been stealing the mail. If I can get proof of that, I can have him arrested." Suzaku had a big grin on his face.

On Saturday, Lelouch and Lloyd met up at a fast food place. Lelouch said, "I invited a pretty girl to have lunch with us. Is that okay?"

Lloyd replied, "That sounds great."

Lelouch and Lloyd walked to the front of the line. An employee asked, "What can I get you?"

Lloyd said, "I'll just have a bucket of pudding and a soda."

Lelouch replied, "I'll two buckets of chicken, three buckets of fries, a big container of onion rings, and four sodas." After ordering, Lelouch and Lloyd sat at one of the tables.

A few minutes later, Shirley came in. She ordered her lunch and sat down. Shirley said, "Hi Lelouch."

Lelouch noticed that Shirley looked fancier and her hair looked better than ever. He replied, "You look super pretty today."

Shirley blushed and responded, "Thank you, Lulu."

Lloyd shook Shirley's hand and said, "I'm Lloyd, one of Lelouch's friends."

Lelouch looked at him and asked, "We're friends?"

Lloyd said, "I was hoping that we could become friends."

Lelouch replied, "Whatever."

Shirley said, "Lulu, it was really nice of you to invite me here, considering that we barely know each other."

Lelouch tried to have a pleasant look on his face while saying, "I care about making everybody I meet feel welcome. I believe that everybody deserves a friend."

Shirley replied, "Wow, that's a great thing to say."

Lelouch had a smug smile on his face while saying, "Thank you."

Ten minutes later, Suzaku burst into the fast food place. He walked up to Lelouch and said, "I'm ticked off at you."

Lelouch replied, "That seems to be your main emotion." Suzaku slapped Fred.

Shirley looked at Suzaku and asked, "Why are you here?"

Suzaku straightened his tie while saying, "I'm here to save you from this troublemaking wise guy."

Shirley replied, "Suzaku, you're just being jealous. Lelouch's been a perfectly nice guy."

Suzaku responded, "Actually, he's been giving you perfectly nice lies." He pointed to Lelouch and said, "This is the jerk that's been causing me problems at the Student Council meetings. He's not a gentleman. He lies to people and makes himself look nicer than he actually is, because he's pathetic."

Shirley looked at Lelouch and asked, "Is this true?"

Lelouch said, "Kind of."

Suzaku grabbed Lelouch and said, "You've been causing too much trouble. You've been making my work life a nightmare and you've been tricking my ex-girlfriend into liking me."

Lelouch replied, "She should like me, instead of you. You're a grumpy guy and you scream all the time."

Suzaku screamed, "You're the reason for that! You've been ruining my life, so I'm going to ruin yours." He punched Lelouch in the face.

Shirley said, "Suzaku, please don't resort to violence." Lelouch grabbed the table and threw it at Suzaku. Suzaku fell to the ground. Shirley said, "Lulu, you and Suzaku both have anger and maturity problems." She started packing up her lunch, while saying, "I'm going to go. I'm sorry, but you and Tom are too angry and chaotic. I'm not going to date either of you, but I hope that you can get over your rivalry." Suzaku was so stressed out, that he started napping on the floor.

Lelouch looked at Lloyd and said, "I bombed."

Lloyd smiled and replied, "Maybe I have a shot at dating her." Lelouch rolled his eyes.

Lelouch finished up some of his meal. He bagged up the rest and drove home. He looked at his house and saw that his house door was open. He wasn't too weirded out, because he usually left his house door open, on accident, once a week. He went inside and saw C. C. He said, "Wow, you have such a big crush on me, that you went to my house, without permission."

C. C. showed Lelouch a warrant and said, "I have legal permission to be here. Your neighbors have been losing their mail and I suspected that you were the reason for that."

Lelouch replied, "I can't stand it when people jump to conclusions."

C. C. said, "I checked your bedroom and found two bags of mail. A majority of the mail belongs to your neighbors, not you."

Lelouch casually replied, "You win some, you lose some."

C. C. said, "You're in a lot of trouble." She signaled for Lelouch to follow her.

Lelouch and C. C. walked outside. Lelouch looked around and saw his neighbors: Lloyd, Schneizel, and a lazy woman, named Rakshata Chawla. Lelouch asked, "What's going on?"

Prince Schneizel said, "You've been stealing our mail."

Lelouch handed them the bags of mail and said, "I just took them, because I was trying to be a funny troublemaker. You can take your mail back." The neighbors started grabbing their mail.

C. C. looked at the neighbors and asked, "Would you like to press charges?"

Schneizel asked, "You know what? I don't think we should. After all, Lelouch returned our mail."

Lloyd replied, "Good point."

Rakshata tried to stay awake while fiddling with her pipe and saying, "I don't give a crap."

Schneizel looked at Lelouch and said, "Taking our mail wasn't funny. I'll just give you a friendly warning, this time."

Lelouch patted him on the back and replied, "Okay dude."

C. C. looked at Schneizel and asked, "Don't you want to punish Fred?"

Schneizel said, "Nah, I don't want to cause further conflict."

C. C. replied, "That's admirable of you."

Schneizel responded, "Thank you for saving our mail."

C. C. replied, "No problem."

Rakshata said, "I'm going to read whatever boring letters my family sent me, so I can fall asleep easier."

C. C. looked at Lelouch and sternly said, "Stay out of trouble."

Lelouch nervously smiled and said, "I will." He went back inside, sighed, and said, "I shouldn't of woken up today."
