"Lieutenant Uhura?" said hear Commander Spock as he entered the chamber.
Uhura laterally jumped hearing Spock's voice. He normally didn't come to quarters when we were off duty.
"Why are you wearing red T-Shirt?" Spock asked.
"Logically this question is totally illogical."
Spock said, "This is not the answer to my question Nyota."
"You see red is the color of blood and blood provokes love, passion, desire, romance and …"
"And?" Spock demanded.
I replied lustfully, "and sexuality."
"The answer is not logical. Blood contains hemoglobin proteins. Each hemoglobin protein is made of subunits called hemes, which are what give blood its red color. More specifically, the hemes can bind iron molecules, and these iron molecules bind oxygen. The blood cells are red because of the interaction between iron and oxygen." A logical Vulcan answered. He added, "And if we consider your answer then, for us, the Vulcans, 'green' should be the color of passion."
"Your mother was a human and your dad is a Vulcan. Then your blood should be reddish green instead of pure green." Nyota tried to be logical.
"Affirmative. But as my physical appearance which more or less indicates that Vulcan is a dominant trait so is the reason my blood is totally green."
Another logical answer!
"Anyways, I don't care which color is of passion. I just want to …"
And then suddenly, Nyota kiss him. "I love you, Spock!"
This time Spock said, "I love you too." Putting aside the logic.
"Sometimes logical reasoning is not necessary, especially in case of LOVE."
AUTHOR'S NOTE: this is my first attempt on a Star Trek series. I am sure that this fiction would be full of grammatical errors. I apology!
But please do leave the review because this is the only way we, the writers, get paid!
