It was like breathing again after a really long time. He opened his eyes. The first thing he saw was Neytiri hovering over him looking worried. He raised his hand and touched her face. She looked nervously at Mo'at but Mo'at just smiled at her. What was going on? He felt perfectly fine. He looked at Neytiri again and opened his mouth to tell her that he was fine but she just put a finger in front of his mouth. She leaned to him and kissed him gently. Whoah, he felt really dizzy all of a sudden. He put his hand on his forehead and sat up. Everyone were looking at him waiting for him to say something. He was, after all, their leader. He tried to stand up but couldn't. Neytiri helped him and finally got him to his feet. He opened his mouth again but couldn't find the right words. He looked at Neytiri who stood at his side and held his hand. She looked at him too and nod. She raised her free hand and said something to the waiting crowd. They started to clap and yell of joy.
"I told them that it worked" she said and let her raising hand fall.
"Thanks" he replied. "But what shall we do now?"
"I have no idea" she said, "maybe we should find ourselves a new home."
"But where? I can't think of any place as good as the hometree" he said.
"Mother?" said Neytiri and looked at Mo'at.
"Yes, dear?" she answered.
"We need a new home" Neytiri told her.
"I know…" she fell silent. They waited for her to say something but she didn't.
"Do you know of a place?" Jake asked her.
"Yes… follow me" she answered and walked away calling her ikran. Jake and Neytiri followed her lead.
"We are leaving to find a new home for us" Jake informed the crowd and jumped on his ikran. The crowd responded to this information with stillness. After the Great battle between the Sky-people and the Na'vi, Neytiri went straight to find herself a new ikran. She was lucky to find one.
They flew after Mo'at for a long time. Jake couldn't help himself of joy because this wasn't his avatar any more. It was his own body. He enjoyed this moment, he was flying, in his own body, with the love of his life while starting a new life. If it weren't for the circumstances he'd want this moment to last forever but now he was on a mission. A mission that would mean a lot for hundreds of people. They flew for a while longer but eventually Mo'at started to lower her flight. Jake and Neytiri did the same. They flew pass a big rock and saw a really big tree. It was almost as big as their former hometree.
"Wow" sighed Jake.
"Of course it's not as good as our hometree but it will do its job quiet well" said Mo'at. They flew nearer the tree and saw that it's structure was only slightly different to the homtree's. Mo'at told them that it was one of the hometree's greatest daughters. They didn't really understand what she meant by this but the nodded anyway. They left their ikrans and entered the tree. Their ikrans flew up to explore their home-to-be. Jake and Neytiri were holding hands while they explored their new home.
"I think we could live here" Jake wondered aloud.
"Yes, we certainly could, and we will" Mo'at replied.
"Shall we go to Eywa and talk to our people about this?" Neytiri asked.
"Yes, lets go" Jake answered.
"I will wait for you here" Mo'at told them.
"Okay, no problem" he said. He and Neytiri went out and called their ikrans who came right away. They flew back to the tree of souls and informed their people about their new home. The crowd applauded and then all their ikrans started to soar down. When everyone were ready they flew away to their new home.
