The sun was at its peak in the day, and the light came through the trees at all angles. Rosalie Sat on Emmett's lap, her head resting on his shoulder. The trees hid them well, very well. The rock they were sitting on was positioned at the edge of a small lagoon, with the water clear and sparkling. Though the surroundings were not quite as beautiful as the vampires themselves, it was as if the world had become silent to appease the happy couple resting peacefully in the sunlight. Rosalie's hair dangled in her face and Emmett brushed it away kissing her lightly. Her skin sparkled in the light as did his though neither worried about being scene.
Emmett's position changed slightly as he wrapped his arms around his beautiful wife. And Rosalie smiled in contentment. Though she had always wished to be human, to have a chilled, to be normal it was as if in this serene, beautiful place, none of it mattered. She turned to look at Emmett "I love you" she said softly her voice sounding like velvet. He grinned widely and kissed her again, those were the only words spoken, and there was nothing that could have made that moment anything less than… perfect.
