*This is my first story, so I hope you all like it.*
As I sat there with the interviewer, the only thing that was on my mind was the fact that the first time I had ever sat in this chair, he had been here with me. I blocked out those memories, forcing myself not to remember those dark, beautiful brown eyes. "Okay, so, Phil, we have a few questions for you. Are you ready?" I nod, knowing that if I opened my mouth, an inhuman sound of pain would emit. "First one is from Nia from Chicago. She asks, what was your dream job as a kid?" I give a small smile and say, "I, uh, kind of wanted to be a weather man." Everyone laughs and the lady interviewing me says, "Next question. This one is from Brenton, from Manchester, who says, have you ever had a secret that only you and one other person knew about?" I sit there a moment, just thinking of one in particular. "Oh….yeah, I definitely did."
"Will you please tell us?"
I shake my head, saying, "No, then it wouldn't be a secret." Everyone in the audience lets off a sigh of disappointment. "Okay, well, next question is from Gabby in Michigan, who says...well, you can read this one." I read it out loud, wondering what is so bad about it. "Where would you be if you had never met Dan?" A question I have asked myself too many times. "Well, it's a fairly long story, really."
"We have time."
"Okay, well I hope you have enough for this one." She nods, so I begin.
*I just wanted to get the prologue up before school, so here it is. I'll get the next chapter up hopefully by later today.*
